WHITE, RICHARD — Rick, who participated in intramural basketball, plans to attend U.M.K.C. and major in business. WILLIAMS, JAMES' — Drafting and working are Jim’s main interests. He was a member of Traffic Squad. After graduation he will continue his educa- tion in the service. WILLIAMS, CHARLOTTE — Charlotte was active in Chemistry Club. A (.appella. French Club and Y-Teens. She will attend either J.C. or Warrens- burg next fall. WILLIAMS. KENDALL — Kendall participated in R.O.T.C. and A Cap- pella while at Paseo. WILLIAMSON, GEORGE — George participated in Juntos Literary Society, Quill and Scroll. Traffic Squad, basketball and Spanish Club. He was also a member of Paseo Club. Chemistry Club and Chess Club. Being advertising manager on the Press and a Linotype operator also kept George busy. This future Social Studies major will attend either U.M.K.C. or C.M.S.C. next fall. WILSON. I). WESTCOTT, BOB - Bob participated in intra- murals. Traffic Squad and the Stage Crew. He also enjoys working with cars and likes to swim and play football. Bob plans to study Business Administration at J.C. next year. WHEAT, LINDA - Y- Teens, Spanish Club, and Chemistry Club rate high on Linda's activity list. She will attend U.M.K.C. WHEATLEY, JOYCE - Joyce was active in Pep Club and the Future Nurses of America. She plans to pursue a medical career. WHEATLEY, PAT — Chemistry Club. Y-Teens and Zetas kept Pat occupied. She will study to be- come a medical technologist at U.M.K.C. WHITAKER. JAMES - Jim’s interests were modern music and cars. After graduation he will go into the Navy. WHITAKER, MARY — Mary was a member of Quill and Scroll, Pep Club and Chemistry Club at Paseo. She was also elected secretary of Y-Teens, parliamentarian of Zetas, and a second page editor of the Press. WILLIAMSON W ILSON. D. WILSON, DAVID — Varsity football. Physics Club and Chemistry Club kept David busy. J.C. or U.M.K.C. will welcome him next fall. WILSON. DIANE — Diane was a member of Midtown Youth Council, Drill Team, Publicity Committee, Executive Board. French Club. Thicions, Inter- club, Pep Club and Y-Teens. Also claiming her membership were Chemistry Club. Mask and W'ig, Discussion Club, National Honor Society, Quill and Scroll. Girls’ Choir, and A Cappella. She was also a Varsity cheerleader. Mixer Committee Chairman, second page editor of the Press, co-editor of Paseon and a Homecoming Queen candidate. After graduation Diane will major in social science at Drake University. TOMBS TOWNSEND TRIMMER TROTT TYE TOMBS. MADLYN - Madlyn was an officer of the Pasco Club. Parlia- mentarian of the Student Council, and Treasurer of Spanish Club. She was also a member of Pep Club, Thicions Literary Society and French Club. After graduation Madlyn plans to attend K.U. and become a language inter- preter. TOWNSEND. KAREN SUE — C.O.E. student Karen was active in Pep Club and Girls’ Choir. Central Missouri State College will welcome her in the fall. TRIMMER. BONNIE - While at Paseo, Bonnie was active in Aquatettes. French Club, girls’ intra- murals and the Orchestra. She plans to major in mu- sic at Emporia State or Park College. TROTT. PAUL - Being a member of Chemistry Club, Paseo Club. Phys- ics Club and Chess Club have meant a lot to Paul. He will study chemical engineering at Carnegie Institute of Technology next fall. TYE, PHYLLIS — Phyllis plans to attend an I.B.M. school after graduation. VALVERDE, JEAN — Jean participated in Band. Traffic Squad and Chem- istry Club while at Paseo. VASSAR. ROBERT — Bob enjoyed listening to records and working on cars. He hopes to attend M.U. VAUGHN. PAT — Pat participated in Pep Club. Y-Teens. A Cappella. Stu- dent Council and C.O.E. She plans to attend M.U. or C.M.S.C. and become a nurse. VAUGHNS, JOHN — John was on the football team at Paseo. His main interests are swimming and camping. John will join the Navy after graduation. WALKER. RONNIE — Ronnie was a member of the football team. Engineers Literary Society, Letterman’s Club, track team and Traffic Squad. Ronnie is unsure of where he will continue his education. WALTHALL. SHERYL - Sheryl participated in Pep Club. Y-Teens. girls’ sports. Student Council and Girls’ Choir. Junior College or a business school is her choice for further education. WARD. PHYLLIS - Phyllis belonged to Pep Club. Y-Teens. Thicions Literary Society. Intramurals. Mask and Wig and was a Student Council Representative. After graduation she plans to attend U.M.K.C. WATERFIELD, DAVID - French Club. A Cappella. Traffic Squad. Boys’ Chorus. Paseo Club. Physics Club and Student Council kept David busy. He will attend Junior College or M.U. WEIDMAN. HARLEY - Harley was a member of Chemistry Club. Juntos Literary Society and Spanish Club. Coins and stamps are his main interests. He is undecided as to what college he will attend next fall. Senior Pirates in high spirits! WILSON, MARILYN ANN — Marilyn was a Student Council Representative and belonged to Mask and W ig, Girls’ Sports. Y-Teens, French Club, and the Art Committee. Central Methodist College will see her next year. W ITT. ELFREDA - Elfreda participated in Pep Club. Paseo Club, Thicions, Student Council and was a office assistant. Secretarial work awaits her after studying at C.M.S.C. WRIGHT WOLFE, MERCI — Merci was third page editor of the Press, a student council alternate. Secretary YATES of Girls Choir and a member of Latin Club. She was also active in Quill and Scroll and Paseo Club. She ZANDER will enroll at U.M.K.C. or DePaul University next September. WOLFE. MERIDITH — Painting, reading and sailing were Meridiths main interests. Next fall she will study to become a commercial artist at Kansas City Art Institute. WOOD. GARY — J.C. or M.U. will greet this eager Pirate next year. WRIGHT, DIXIE LEE — This active Pirate was a member of Pep Club. Drill Team. Quill and Scroll. Y-Teens and Chemistry Club. She was also Secretary-Treasurer of Future Medical Careers. Circulation Manager of the Press. Chairman of the Health Committee and Health Center Assistant. Her career plans include nursing or airline work. YATES. STEPHEN ALBERT - Steve was a mem ber of the track team. Paseon staff. Juntos. letter- mans Club, Book Crew and Traffic Squad. He also helped lead the varsity basketball squad as Co- Captain and was Keeper of the Pyrimid in Chess Club. After graduation Steve will attend Duke University. ZANDER. GLENN — Glenn was vice-president of French Club, and a member of Midtown Youth Council. He was also active in Chemistry Club, Physics Club. Drama Workshop. Boys’ Chorus, Quill and Scroll.
