Miss Martha Lappin, physical education instructor, is sponsor of Peppettes and the girls' Swim- ming Club. She likes to play the piano. Daily calisthenics for physical fitness are also offered to keep the boys in top shape. . Girls, too, keep physically fit with an appropriate athletic program. Soccer, volleyball, hockey, basketball, softball and swim- ming are enjoyed by all who participate. The active intramural program at Paseo is designed not only to develop a keen sense of competition, but also to develop the 1n- centive to win as well as the ability to lose gracefully. Miss Nell Mitchell, physical edu- cation instructor, is the sponsor of the cheerleaders. Her interests include church work, bowling and gardening. 5 Q J Q Mr. C. O. With the addi- tion this year of a linotype machine, the printing department has become a complete print shop. Now the lino- type machine is used to print the Paseo Press with a considerable savings of time and money.
