Even in everyday life ,me knowledge of math is required. It is the duty and desire of Paseo's Math Department to equip ich student with a fundamental working knowledge of mathematics J help him in later life. For students with unusual ability in math, Paseo has adopted le-School Mathematics Study Group program, better known as SMSG. This program is a recent development of a group of out- to anding college professors and has only been in use at Paseo for Mr. Eugene Campbell, mathemat- 1CS teacher, likes to spend his spare time fishing and gardening. Mr. Nelson W. Dwight, general mathematics instructor, is the head coach of the football team and b0YS' swimming team. He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard. g iree years. Miss Mary James, algebra in- structor, is the sponsor of Cyn- thians Literary Society. She likes to read and play bridge in her spare time. ,gnfw Wim' W , Mr. L. E. In these classes the pupils learn the impor- tance of courteous behavior, responsibility and accurate work in seeking and holding jobs in the business World. Added stress is placed on developing as a good employee and at the same time, Mr. Donald A. Brown, typing teacher, likes fishing and wood- working. Mr. Robert W. Forbes is the Co- operative Education instructor. He plays golf and bridge and enjoys reading in his free time.
