Students are trained to he courteous, alert drivers and to always be mindful of others on the road. Besides learning techniques of handling an auto- mobile, students are taught the state driving rules. The importance of driving according to weather conditions is also stressed. Under the watchful eyes of the instructors, students are taught basic fundamentals and useful skills in a great variety of sports. Par- ticipation in intramural sports is encouraged for all those who have not earned a varsity athletic letter. On the varsity level is football, basketball, and track, but Paseo also has hockey, swimming, bowl- ing, tennis, and golf teams.
