Paseo offers courses in both vocal and instrumental music. While all music students learn the basic fundamentals, those with special ability in a particular area of music are chosen for participation in such selective activities as the Orchestra and A Cappella Choir. The Girls' Choir, the Boys' Chorus, and the Band are other important activities which give Paseo students a richer appreciation of music. Paseo is indeed proud of those student musicians who annually bring her honor by performing well at the University of lVIissouri's state-wide vocal and instrumen- tal contests. Music is but one of the many activities which help to make Paseo stu- dents well-rounded individuals. Mr. LaVerne Cable Vocal Music B.S. NEMSC M.A. K. C. University Mr. Maurice Cater Instr.
