BURKITT, JOHN LEE-John enjoyed working on his car. He hopes to become an auto mechanic. BUSHAKRA, GEORGIA ANN-Georgia served as Treasurer of F.B.L.A. and president of a Junior Achievement Company. She plans to study secretarial work or bookkeeping at a business college. CALDWELL, JIM--This personable guy was Business Editor of Paseon and an Eagle Scout. He was also on the roll of El Ateneo, Delphians, Traffic Squad, and Chemistry Club. Next year will find him studying business courses at either Warrensburg or Baker. CALLOWICK, MARILYN-Marilyn was a member of Orchestra. This year she was enrolled in the C.O.E. program. She wants to continue her present work at A.T.84T. CAMERON, LARRY-Likeable Larry was in the Civil Air Patrol. Next year will see Larry at K.C.U. where he'll study to be a pharmacist. CAMP, BETTY-Cooking, and swimming were enioyed by Betty. She plans to go into some field of office work after graduation. CAMP, PATRICIA-Pat enioyed her leisure hours boating and singing. She plans to be a typist and bookkeeper. CAPPS, JACK-Membership in Physics Club, A Cappella, and Boys' Chorus kept Jack busy at Paseo. Next year Jack will attend J.C. where he will study to be a chemist. CARLANDER, DOUGLAS- Tiger was a member of Engineers, Traffic Squad, and was a varsity letterman in basketball. Doug expects to attend C.M.S.C. CARLSON, RICHARD-Being on the Honor Roll and secretary of A Cappella were honors Richard received. He also found time to be a member of Engineers, Boys' Chorus, Physics Club, Drama Workshop, Debate Team, and Spanish Club. Sports rated tops with Rich who plans to attend Bethany College. BURKITT BUSHAKRA CALDWELL CAMP, P. CAPPS CARLANDER CASTRO CHAMP CHURCH CARNEY, JUANITA MILDRED-Sewing and dancing were some of Nita's hobbies. She belonged to F.T.A., Y-Teens, and F.H.A. Future school-Washburn, ambition-teacher. CARPENTER, LINDA-Participating in Mask and Wig, Pep Club, Mixer Committee, and Chemistry Club, kept Linda busy, but this vivacious gal also found time to be secretary of Zetas and Y- Teens, Copy Editor of Paseon, and attendant to Paseon Queen, and a member of Quill and Scroll. She plans to attend William Jewell where she will study to be a medical record librarian. CASTRO, TONY CHAMP, ALBA-Alba liked to spend her time swimming, danc- ing and most of all, loafing. She wants to attend l.B.M. school. CHURCH, ANNELLA SUE-Annella served as secretary of Pa- tricians and was a member of Chemistry Club. Baker or War- rensburg will welcome this sweet gal next year where she will study to be a biologist. CLARK, BONNIE-Musically-minded Bonnie belonged to Ad- vanced Girls' Chorus and spent her spare time listening to records. After graduation she will continue in her iob as long-distance operator. CLEVELAND, CAROL-This cute blond was a member of Pep Club, F.B.L.A,, Y-Teens, Drill Team, and Thicions. Next year will see Clev studying secretarial work at Warrensburg. COLLIER, SARAH-Sally enioyed cooking, art, and photography in her spare time. She was secretary and vice-president of Pa- tricians, and a member of Chemistry Club, Paseon staff, and Physics Club. BORDMAN, MARILYN--Marilyn served as a nurse's assistant and was a member of F.B.L.A., French Club, and F,N.A. Next year, O.U. or Nl.U. will claim this future private secretary. BOTWINIK, ARNOLD- Arny enioys collecting stamps. He be- longed to the Explorer Air Squadron and plans to work as welder. BOYER, PATRICIA--Pat enioyed spending her spare time playing table tennis and sewing. She will go to J.C. next year to become a secretary. BOYSKO, LEANNA--While at Paseo, this attractive girl was sec- retary of French Club, veep of Discussion Club, and a member of F.T.A. and Physics Club. ln addition, she was chairman of A,A.U.W. and made N.H.S. She will study to become a teacher at Beloit or William Jewell. BRAY, NAOMI-Naomi was in Y-Teens, Advanced Girls' Chorus, and C.O.E. She will attend Southwest Baptist College or Iowa Wesleyan to become a secretary. BRAY, NITA-Nita liked to collect records. She plans to be a typist for some firm next year. BRENNER, HARRIETT-Harriett's success as a social worker was assured by her service to the Jewish Community Center. Belonging to French Club, Chemistry Club, and Drama Workshop showed how much Harriett likes being with people. She will be a credit to Junior College. BRIMBLE, DARLENE-Being on Paseon took up a lot of Darlene's time, but she also participated in El Ateneo, Chemistry Club, A Cappella, and Y-Teens. She was lnter-Club representative for lotas. She will attend J.C. BROWN, CONSTANCE-Connie's many activities included N.H.S., A.A.U.W., and Quill and Scroll. She was reporter for lotas, third- page editor of the Press, president of French Club, secretary of Latin Club, gift receiver for her junior class, and in the Fall Play Cast, Pep Club, and the Debate Team. Connie hopes to become a iournalist after attending either K.U. or Barnard, BORDMAN BOTWINIK BOYER BRENNER BRIMBLE BROWN, C. BROWN, W. BRUCE, D. BRUCE, J. BROWN, DONALD C.--Don enioyed spending his spare hours bowling. He plans to study medicine obstetrics at K.U. BROWN, GARY-Gary managed to play varsity football, and be a football, basketball, and track manager. He was a member of Lettermen's Club and Traffic Squad. A career in printing is in this boy's future. BROWN, LARRYvLarry enioyed art work and belonged to the Tennis Team. He plans to attend the Kansas City Art institute and become a commercial artist. BROWN, WALLACE-While at Paseo, Wally participated in Chem- istry Club and Spanish Club. He'll go to J.C. next year to learn how to get rich quick. BRUCE, DAVID-Dave worked on the Stage Crew and was a football manager while at Paseo. He will study iet mechanics or industrial engineering at J.C. BRUCE, JOHN-This active talker made himself heard around Paseo. John was a member of Debate Team, Tennis Team, Traffic Squad, Chemistry Club, Spanish Club, Delphians, lnter-Club, Fall Play Cast, Starlight Theatre Advisory Board, and served on Paseon. John attended Boys' State his iunior year. He plans to attend K.C.U. to prepare for a law career. BRYAN, LOUIS JAMES-Louie was a member of A Cappella and on the Honor Roll. He wants to attend Drury College and become a director of religious education. BRYANT, MARJORIE-Margie, a small girl with a lot of pep, was reporter of Thicions and on the Y-Teens Cabinet. She also found time to participate in Pep Club, Mask and Wig, Drill Team, Student Council, and Spanish Club. Future school-Drury, ambition-X-ray technician. CONKRIGHT, TOM DEAN-Delphians, Traffic Squad, Debate Team and Physics Club all claimed Tom as a member. This guy was also a captain of R.O.T.C., and Commander of the Honor Guard. Tom has decided to attend K.C.U. COPAKEN, RICHARD D.-See Class Officers. CRAWFORD, PAUL-Paul enioyed working on cars. The campus of K.C.U. or J.C. will welcome him next year. CROSBY, SUSANNA--Susanna was active in Paseo's Orchestra, Chemistry Club, and played in the All-City Orchestra. Next year she will attend J.C. CROSSWHITE, SALLY4This energetic Pirate was on the roll of Y-Teens, Pep Club, Advanced Girls' Chorus, and Student Council. Sally will attend Weaver Aeronautics School to become an airline hostess. CROW, DON-Playing football his freshman, iunior, and senior years made Don eligible for membership in Lettermen's Club. He will study electronics at J,C. CRUMBAUGH, GARY LEE-Besides being a member of Traffic Squad, Gary was a collector of stamps, coins, and model planes. His future trade will be printing. CULLEN, ROBERTA- Berte was on the roll of the Paseo C.O.E. program. After graduation Roberta plans to go to Kansas City College of Beauty where she'lI study to be a beauty operator. DAVIS, DONALD I.EEfDon enioyed working on cars. He plans to own his own garage someday, although now, he is half owner in the Davis 8- Staatz Auto Body and Motor Repair Service. DAVIS, .IUDIE E.-.Judie was on the roll of A Cappella and French Club. Lindenwood College will claim this Pirate whose ambition is to be a director of religious activities. DAVIS, THEODORE DAVID-Boy Scouts filled most of Ted's time. He wants to become an electrical engineer after attending K.C.U. or J.C. DEAN, CARLfColIecting 'records is CarI's favorite hobby. This DeMolay member plans to attend J.C. and become an electrical engineer. DEFFENBAUGH, .IOELLA-Chemistry Club, and Pep Club claimed JoeIIa's membership. She plans to attend Kansas or Oklahoma University. DICKEY, JAMES THOMAS-Jim spent his time at Paseo partici- pating in R.O.T.C. He lettered as a member of Paseo's Rifle Team. Lt. Dickey will go to J.C. to become a veterinarian. DIEDRICHS, MADELYN-Whenever there was art to be done, there was Mad. She was decorations chairman of the Mixer Committee, vice-president of Y-Teens, Organizations Editor of Paseon, and reporter for Zetas. Pep Club, Drill Team, and Quill and Scroll also claimed Madelyn as a member. She received her first crown as Football Princess and her second crown as Paseo's first Paseon Queen, Madelyn plans to attend K.U. where she will maior in art to become a commercial artist. DOERHOFF, KATHLEEN ANNE-This gal was a member of Patricians and F.B.L.A. Kay enioyed designing fashions. She wants to become a secretary. DORNAN, BONNIE-Bonnie was on the roll of Iotas, Y-Teens, Spanish Club, and girls' sports. She wishes to be an I.B.M. operator. DOWNS, ROBERT CARL-Bob was Circulation Manager of the Press staff, veep and secretary of Delphians, and veep of A Cap- pella. He was also a member of Traffic Squad, Spanish Club, Boys' Chorus, Chemistry Club, Physics Club, and the Honor Roll. K.U. will claim this future engineering or science major.
