His is PAsEo HIGH SCHOOL, and those students entering are its life-blood. Paseo students are active: their hands move in a multitude of ways, both those required by the curriculum and those which have nothing to do with it. As you read on, you will see those hands clasped as a symbol of the fellowship of the SENIOR CLASSQ later, they will be seen receiving awards in several URGANIZA- TIONS. As you continue, hands move smartly in a military manner in the R.O.T.C. sectiong followed by all their activities in Paseo's CLUBS. Passing a football, dribbling a basketball, or wielding a hockey stick, other hands participate in a number of SPORTSQ however, governing the STUDENT BODY is a responsibility of each individual- as he raises a hand to elect a student council representative, as the representative writes a suggestion to the president, who calls the legislative body together with a knock from his gavel. WOLFGANG ROMMEL, GERMAN EXCHANGE STUDENT ANDS Acuoss THE sm-reaching to Hamburg Germany-bringing Wolfgang Rommel to America- have created a bond of friendship and understanding never before known to the annals of Paseo. Using the facilities of the American Field Service, the students 4 made this dream of an exchange student a reality. Having completed several tests and interviews in 1955, Wolfgang was notihed that he had been selected on Iuly sixth l956. Not only had a dream come true for Wolfgang but for Paseo also.
