Php dad With the coming of October, Pep Clubis activ- ities were in full swing. This year, Paseds Pep Club was under the able leadership of Mary Haubein, president. Other officers were Peggy Piggott, vice-president, Carolyn Ayres, secretary, Virginia Lansdon, treasurer, and Marge Spitzen- pfeil, sgt-at-arms. Miss Nell Mitchell was the new adviser. New shakers were also ordered and used for the basketball games. The highlight of the year was the third annual Sadie Hawkins mixer, Ianuary 25, where Peggy Piggott was crowned Miss Peppy. Her attendants were Louise Pollaro and Anne Malben. At each meeting, old and new cheers, led by the cheerleaders, were reviewed and learned to be used at the games. Paseo is proud of the good sports- manship shown by the Pep Club at the games. 25
