Lambert scored the Pirate's only 6 points to East's 33. The Pirates determined to get back on the right track Went all out to tromp the Manual Redbirds 50 to 13. The Pirates started early by scoring 21 points in the Hrst quarter, 7 in the second, 9 in the third, and I3 in the fourth. A surprised Southeast crew was the next to feel the stings of a victory-minded Paseo team, as the Knights were conquered 20 to 14. Deciding to finish the season in high glory, the Pirates led by Haubein, Kincaid, Miner, and Coulter, defeated the Tigers of Westport 38 to 6. Westport was held scoreless until late in the last quarter. At the end of the 755356 football season We found the Pirates in fifth place. Not only did this hustling team score 108 points in the last three games of play, but also had five boys on the All Star Team. Ae 55-56 74455416 mam The Pirate eleven, inspired by nine returning lettermen, started OH their impressive season by downing their arch-enemy, Rockhurst, 6 to O. The next non-league encounter was with much favored Northeast, but the Pirates, not to be scared Off by bad predictions, scored in the last quarter to tie the Vikes 7 all. De La Salle, next Paseo victim, fell to the Pirates, feet in a 46 to IQ slaughter. Doing the scoring honors for the Pirates were Ken Lambert and Ralph Kincaid with two TD,sg Bob Coulter, Bob Haubein, and Bud Clark with one apiece. The first league encounter found the Pirates on the tail end of a 7 to 20 loss at the hands of Southwest. Scoring Paseo's lone touchdown in the second quarter was Lambert. Lincoln, a new team in the Interscholastic league, ended up on the top of a close, hard fought battle, downing the Pirates 6 to 7.
