' 65444 Gfjfdcew HUGH BAYSINGER - Capable and well-liked Hugh rapped the gavel of the Iunior Class. As a member of the National Honor Society, Lettermen's Club, Traliic Squad. Engineers, Red Cross Committee, and track team, Hugh kept busy. Much of his time was spent singing in A Cappella, Boys' Chorus, and his church choir. Also he sang as a member of the 'gEour Flatsf' This summer Hugh, who is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-Q-Say, will be one of Kansas City's representatives to the world jamboree. BARBARA HANSQN-Pirate juniors elected vi- vacious Barbara to the position of gift receiver. Barb was crowned Paseo's Football Queen and served as a cheer- leader. Also her name was listed on the rolls of Student Council, Thicions, Pep Club, French Club, and Y-Teens. Next year she will be a member of the Paseon Staff. Barbara's sparkling personality added much life to Paseois halls. RICHARD VVEBSTER-The oliice of veep went to popular and alert Dick, who was also elected to the National Honor Society as a junior. Singing with the Choir. Boys' Chorus, the Four Flatsv took much of his time. Richard was a member of Engineers, Tralilic Squad, Lettermenls Club, Quill and Scroll, and veep of the Music Club. This Eagle Scout and member ol' the Tribe ol' Mic-Q-Say was also Business Manager of the Press and on Paseo's track team. MARY HAUBEIN - As secretary of her class, Mary received another honor. VVinning the Paseo PH in Girls' Athletics, membership in Cynthians. Student Council, Pep Club. El Ateneo and Mixer Committee kept Mary working hard. Qn the Press Staff she served as Girls' Sports Editor and next year the position of Co-layout Editor for the '56 Paseon awaits this sweet and very capable Pirate. KEN LAMBERT - Ken, serving as treasurer, handled the finances of his Iunior Class. Receiving All- Star Honorable Mention both his sophomore and junior years in basketball, lien also outstandingly represented Paseo on the varsity football team and in track. He served as a City Hall Day Representative, Student Council Representative, member of the Mixer Committee, Letter- men's Club, and Trathc Squad. Next year he will be on the Paseon Staff. ANNE MALBEN-Cute Anne served as reporter of the Iuniors. As a cheerleader, Student Council Repre- sentative, member of Zetas, Mask and VVig, Mixer Committee, Red Cross Committee, Y-Teens. Pep Club. and the Honor Roll, Annie was one of the most active and enthusiastic juniors. Next year she'll serve as a member of the Press Staff. HERB KQHN-Herb's election as sergeant-at-arms of his Iunior Class added another honor to his already many. This year he also was elected president ol' the Missouri lnterscholastic Press Association and president of the jackson County Press workshop. Herb kept busy as veep ol' Engineers, a member of the Student Council Executive Board, Quill and Scroll, Lcttermen's Club, Spanish Club, and Managing Editor ol the Paseo Press. Track and football also lilled his crowded schedule. 29

Semin 70666 Up to Paseols mighty heights We seniors all have passed. This is the year we bequeath our rights For this year is our las-t. It's Gretchen Wendegatz and Charles Hart Who've really worked at school, Now Marge Spitzenpfeil and Dave Brunn may start To make long hours their rule. Carol Ronemous and Gene Fabes, this year Are destined to succeed. Pat Toalson and Dick Webster, lend earl To you we will their creed. Cynthia Greb and Bob Trutzel are typical indeed We see them everywhere. To Ioyce McGee and Ron Bilyeu we concede The pep of this great pair. Popular Shirley Hand and Iim Iepson Leave behind many a friend. So Anne Malben and Herb Kohn should get hep, son And continue this fine trend. Sandy Bass and Pat O,Connor truly sway And we named them as Best Dancers , Carol Weinhold and Dave Poole may go their way And equal these two prancers. Debbie Katz and Gerald Harris are quick to laugh They've had a lot of fun. Put Glenda Allen and Iohn Ward in their path And the blues will have to run. 28 Dottie Owens and Dick Turpin are good lookin'g To that we all agree. Barbara Hanson and Ralph Kincaid are also cookin' Along this category. In personality, Ruth Palmgren and Dean Moor Were voted best of all. Pat Pearson and Hugh Baysinger are sure To get a similiar call. Linda Levy and Iohn Hanna really scored For many Pirate teams. To Mary Haubein and Ken Lambert we .award Their athletic means. Ianet Iackson and Ierry McPherron were chicg Their clothes were oh, so neat. Now it's Bev Mann and Art Taylor we pick As dressers hard to beat. Patti French and Larry Webb played the Held And left so many in doubt. Carol Eikost and Eddie Miner needn't yield As- Flirt and Wolf they, too, stand out. Kathy Horridge and Ted Shane were great When on Paseo's stage 3 Gayle French and Barry Kaplan we rate Will start another rage. Thanks, thanks to you, most worthy school For the memories you have given. Remember Who You Are will ever be a rule For which we all have striven.
