TRACTMAN UMSTEAD Voce KENNETH STOKLAS-This likeable fellow spent much of his time building scale model trains. Stokey wants to become a mechanic and we wish him luck in anything he does. EVERETTE STOUT-Here's one senior who has his eye on doing something different. He has an ambition to be a card- o-type operator Clock it upj. Models, cars and planes also hold this fellow's interest. DONALD STRATTON-Like most fellows Don likes cars, hunting, and woodwork. He enjoyed being on the Traffic Squad and Student Council. This hardworker will attend K.U. next fall. IO ELLEN STUBBS-Thicions, Y-Teens, Pep club, Muir club, and Drama Workshop claimed Io. She told us she wants to work in a bank and is undecided whether or not she wants to attend college. SHEILA SULLIVAN - This peppy Cynthian was a member of the Pep club, and Science club. To be a criminologist, a woman detective, is her desire. History was Sheila's favorite subject. SHIRLEE SUMMER- Lee came to us from Chicago last year and became Il member of Mask and Wig here at Paseo. M.U. is a likely prospect for college. ELAINE SWEEZY--A true boogie fan, Squeeze loves jazz records. Elaine's future as a housewife is already assured. LOIS TAYLOR- Lois was kept quite busy being a member of A Cappella, Y-Teen cabinet, Student Council, veep of Thicions, and on the honor roll. M.U. will claim this cute gal next fall. CAROL THOMAS-Here's a sweet girl who likes to sew and is interested in homemaking. F.H.A., Y-Teens, after school sports, Iotas, and C.O.E. held Carol's attention. English and languages are her favorite subjects and to be a linguist is her ambition. IAMES THOMAS-When he wasn't posted on the Tralhc Squad, he sang in A Cappella, attended meetings of Engineers and Letterman's clubs, and played football. Iim is going to Warrensburg next fall. BEVERLY THORTON- The lady with the lamp Bev wants to be a nurse. She sang in the A Cappella and also in Girl's Chorus. K.U. is next. IDELL TRACKMAN-One of our girl athletes Pell also belonged to French club, and Muir club. She wants to be a secretary and make gobs of money. Here's hoping her ambition will be satisfied. IAMES TROUT-This tall fellow was on the basketball team, track team, and a full Hedgcd member of the Letterman's club. To become a M.D., he will study hard at M.U. CAROLYN UBER-Carrie likes to read and will probably do a lot of that while studying to be a nurse. After school sports, F.H.A. and Chemistry club kept her busy at Paseo. ' KATHLEEN UMSTEAD- Kathy likes to listen to music in her spare time, while Pep club, Muir club, Y-Teens, and sports kept her busy too. She thinks maybe M.U. will have what she is interested in. MALCOLM VANDEURSEN-Mickey was one of those who put studies before pleasure and as a result may go to Harvard to enter into the Diplomatic service. The French club and Iuntos both claimed him as a member. CHARLES VAN HORN-This talented fellow played Fabian in The Twelfth Night on the stage at K.C.U. Dramatics are his meat and he also likes to sleep and date. Drury's the college he will attend. LARRY VOGE-Highlighting Larry's school life were sports. The football team and basketball team kept him in training, while Keats, Letterman's club, A Cappella, Traffic Squad, Quill and Scroll, and the Press staff claimed him as a member. It's William Iewell next for this swell guy. uf

STALEY, Imuw STALEV, IOANNE STEIN STEPHENS IERRY ROSMARINE-This radioeminded fellow is a member of the Radio club and will go to M.U. where he will take up studying to be an electronic engineer. BILL ROSS - Class oflicer. RONALD ROTI-I-Ronnie just breezed through school. He left us at mid term and is now happily married. REVA SADOW-This gal is studying dancing for her future ambition as a ballet dancer. Psychology is her favorite class and she will attend Illinois University. ROSE MARIE SCHMITT-For something different in the way of hobbies, Rossie collects tropical fish. This nice girl also likes to draw and paint. RUTH SCOFIELD- Ruthie, a pretty red-headed gal, added her voice to A Cappella while at Paseo. Modeling school is next in line for this senior and we kinda think it may be her career. SHIRLEY SCOTT- Scottie was a member of Mask and Wig, and Girl's Chorus. Singing is what this little gal likes most, but she will probably become a nurse. M.U. will claim this jolly Paseoite next fall. KATHERINE SEATON-This cute, brown-eyed gal was corresponding secretary of Thicions, in the Pep club, and Y-Teens. She will attend K-State to start training to be a teacher. EVELYN SHABASON-The Muir club and Spanish club claimed Evie who has chosen teaching as a career. She says dancing and art are her favorite hobbies. She will continue her education at M.U. MYRON SI-IULTZ- Buzzy has the black curly hair most girls wish they had. Being interested in tennis and active in sports he belonged to the tennis team. To be a geologist is his ambition and he will go to M.U. NEAL SINGER-This fellow likes to do a lot of things, horse- back riding, table tennis, and collecting coins. The business world and I.C. hold something of a future for Neal. MORRIS SOLTZ-Sports being Morrie's hobby, he was on the hrst team football and track teams. Also in the Radio club, he plans to go to I.C. or M.U. where he will take up business. BETTY SPRADLIN- Betty was in Cynthians, Y-Teens, Chem- istry club, Student Council, F.H.A., and Drama Workshop. After going to K.C.U. she hopes to be a secretary. Sports, swimming and tennis are tops on this busy gal's hobby list. IAMES SPROUL-lim belonged to the Letterman's club, A Cappella, Student Council, and Chemistry club. Being interested in sports, this sporty fellow was on the football and track teams. To be an Opera singer is his ambition. I.C. will receive this jolly good fellow next fall. IERRY STALEY-One of our R.O.T.C. boys Ierry is looking forward to a military career. He is a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. having received his God and Country and Eagle Scout award, and is a member of De Molay. IO ANN STALEY-Next fall will see Iody at Ottawa University engaged in training to be a gym teacher. At Paseo she was active in sports and received her senior life saving award. ELEANOR STEIN-Eleanor is another one of those who loves to eat, drive, and listen to records. She belonged to Pep club and was an office assistant. To be a secretary after going to I.C. is her ambition. ROSALIND STEPHENS-The gal with the big smile, Rosie sang in the Advanced Girls' Chorus and was a member of Y-Teens. She will study to he a secretary at K.C.U. 25

TERESA VOGEL-Teresa's ambition, like so many others, is to get married and raise a big family. We're sure she'll have no trouble finding her man. IOAN VOGT- Being president of Thicions, secretary-treas- urer of Discussion club, on the executive board of Student Council, Y-Teen cabinet, and a member of A Cappella, Pep club, Fall Play, Mask and Wig, and the Honor Roll kept sweet Ioan busy. Physical therapy is her chosen Field at K.U. IOHN WALLACE- Wally was a member of the Rifle team, N.R.A. and R.O.T.C. He wants to be a ballistics expert after spending a little time in the Navy. FRANK WAMBOLD-To get a good job and make lots of money is this C.O.E. studcnt's ambition. He always Finds time to hx his car to keep it in good running order. I.C. is next for Frank. IOYCE WARNER--I.C. is Ioyce's next stop, but while at Paseo she was a member of Thicions, Pep club, F.H.A. and Y-Teens. Art holds her interest and to be a Commercial artist is heriaim. HERBERT WAXMAN- Always busy, Herby was president of the N.H.S.. in the Chemistry, Discussion, and Radio clubs, Traliic Squad. Iuntos, Student Council executive board, and Fall Play. Believe it or not, he still found time for his hobby, photography. Herbert will study to be a doctor at VVashington University in St. Louis. IOSEPH WAXMAN- joe says model airplanes are his hobby and Hying holds his interest also. He will study at K.U. to learn to be an aeronautical engineer. SHANON WELDON-This good looking senior, always had a smile for everyone. Shan was active in Zetas, Muir club. Pep club, and was secretary-treasurer of her homeroom. It's K.C.U. for her where she wlll study Commercial art. PAT WHITE - Class oflicer. IOYCE WHITSITT-Among Ioyce's many activities are secretary of the junior class, veep of Zetas, treasurer of A Cappella, co-editor of Paseon, Y-Teen cabinet, First page editor of Press staff, Mask and Wig, Pep club, mixer committee, Inter- club council, Drama Workshop, Quill and Scroll, and the Highest Honor Roll. It's K.U. or K-State for this swell senior who wants to continue her singing. ALICE WILHOIT- Willie was a homeroom ollicer, and in Y-Teens. Girls' Chorus, Chemistry club, and after school sports. At K.C.U. she plans to become a Laboratory technician. SHIRLEY WILLIAMS-Always busy Shirl, has Child Welfare in mind for future study at K-State. A Cappella was this pretty senior's favorite but she also enioyed being in Zetas, Pep club, Y-Teens, Muir club, and on the Paseon staff. MARGARET WINDMULLER-Oklahoma U. may see this attractive senior next year. Besides being a debator, she was in the French club and on the Highest Honor Roll. BERNIE WINER - This well dressed senior's hobbies are photography and girls. He was in the Chemistry club, Muir club, the Paseon staff, president of Discussion club, and the Honor Roll. Bernie hasn't decided where he is going to college to study to be a doctor. DONALD WOLFSKILL-Don was one of the smarter boys' of the senior class and he still found time to participate in many activities. He was captain of Trafhc Squad, treasurer of N.H.S., vcep of Engineers, a member of Chemistry club, Letterman's club, Student Council, and the basketball team. It's K.U. next fall. SHIRLEY WRIGHT-Shirley's ambition is to be a Buyer for a department store. This peppy senior was in Iotas, Science club, and after school sports. IANE YANCY-lane wants to get married after going to Central College. She has a hobby of collecting pennies. STANLEY ZITRON-This cheerleader was in A Cappella, Band, Drama Workshop, and El Ateneo.
