BARBARA AKS- Bobbie was a member of Drama Workshop, Pep club, and A Cappella choir. This jolly senior claimed her hobby was singing. She wants to be a stenographer or a housewife. ROGER ALLEN- Nick was a member of the football team and the Letterman's club and likes sports very much. He will go on to XVarrensburg. FRED AMOS-N.R.A., Trallic Squad and being an ollicer in R.O.T.C. kept Fred busy. To be an engineer is his ambition. He will go to Chicago where he will study in this held. SHIRLEY ANDERSON-lust to travel around and then settle down to raising a family seems to be sweet Shirley's main ambition. Shirley likes singing and was a member of A Cappella choir. GORDON ARBUCKLE - Class olliccr. KARLYN ARMSTRONG- Brown Eyes was a member of the Press staff, Cynthians, Y-Teens, Pep club. F.H.A., Science club, a homeroom otlicer, and in the Fall Play. Karlyn's plans are to travel all over the world. She will attend I.C. or K.U. IACK AUSTIN-lack was one of our C.O.E. students. He says his nick name is Stilas and he has no special college in mind at the present. IIMMY BABCOCK-C.O.E. took a lot of Little Bab's time. When he wasn't working, he was hunting or fishing. Iimmy will attend Church college at Graceland. ROBERT BARRET-Bob always had a smile for everyone. He was on the Student Council and a member of A Cappella. Bob will prepare to be a music teacher or a staff musician at the Conservatory of Music. SUE BASSIN-Intelligent and peppy describe little Susie. She was a member of A.A.U.NV., mixer committee, Mask and Wig, Drama Workshop. Y-Teen cabinet, Cynthians, a nurse and ollice assistant. She was also feature editor of the Press. To be a fashion designer is Susie's ambition and she will attend M.U. Ai-as ALLEN Amos Avsrm Baacocx B,xna1ar-r BILLS Bum IILAND SHIRLEY BEISER- Acting was Shirley's main interest here at Paseo as shown by her part in the Fall Play, P.T.A. play and her membership in Drama Workshop. She also had time for El Ateneo and the Muir club. Shirl plans to attend M.U. SHIRLEY ANN BERREY-Shirley is really sportsminded. Her hobbies are bowling, swimming, and tennis. In school she still found time to belong to Chemistry club and be a homeroom ollicer. lt's I.C. next. JOAN BILLS -To be an artist is this Rainbow girl's ambition. When she wasn't painting she was sewing. This talented senior will further her art at the K.C. Art Institute. MARILYN BIRD-Coming from St. Teresas. Crow didn't have to worry about getting acquainted over here. She was in the Pep club, Zetas, El Ateneo, Muir club, and Drama Workshop. She plans to major in Home economics at Kansas University. VICK BLAND- Handsome was a member of Engineers, Trallic Squad, Student Council. Letterman's club and A Cappella. Isle was also on the football team and plays baseball. This good- looking senior wants to he a baseball player or a coach and will attend Rockhurst. LOIS BLISSNER-Louie was one of our mid-term graduates who went into nurses training. Sewing and jazz records are her hobbies. HOWARD BODKER- Hoe was a member of Iuntos, Chemistry club. Spanish club, National Rifle Association, Quill and Scroll, Galley Chief on the Press, and had an oflicc in R.O.T.C. Howard will attend Washington U. where he will prepare for a field of medicine. BARBARA BOLAR - Sports. Y-Teens. Iotas. and Pep club kept Babs busy. She was an otlice assistant and on the honor roll. en6ofa0f5Qb0w IOHN CAPPS- Big Iohn was known around school for his ability to keep everyone laughing. As presi- dent of the senior class, Iohn took over a big responsibility. Besides being a top player in football and basketball, he also found time for track, El Ateneo, Student Council, Traflic Squad, was veep of Lettermanis club, and treasurer of Keats. Colorado University will claim this Hne fellow next year. SANDE CARPENTER - Sande very elihciently takes over as gift receiver of the class for she was president of her junior class. Her numerous activities speak for her popularity. She was Iunior Continuity oflicer of the Student Council, veep of Cynthians, chairman of the mixer committee, and a member of Y-Teen cabinet, Mask and Wig, Fall Play cast, Pep club, Press and Paseon staffs, Inter-club council and an oflice assistant. Sande will grace the halls of William Iewell in the fall. TOM COWLING - Being vice president of the senior class is only one of the many honors heaped on the shoulder of Tommy, for he was gift receiver of his junior class, veep of the Student Council, general on the Traflic Squad, and a member of Engineers, Letterman's club, Radio club, and Stage Crew. This good looking guy was also cocaptain of the football team and an all-star and a member of the track team. Tom wants to become an aeronautical engineer. GORDON ARBUCKLE-Capable Gordon had many other activities aside from being secretary of the I2 senior class. He was treasurer of the junior class, a lieutenant on the Traliic Squad, a member of Radio, Letterman's, and Chemistry clubs, Keats, and the football team. Gordie,' wants to be an electrical engineer, and K-State will be the lucky school to claim this popular guy. BOB DAVIS - Bob handled the finances of the senior class for he held the office of treasurer. He was also secre- tary of Letterman's club, a lieutenant on the Traffic Squad, sergeant-at-arms of Student Council, vice president of his junior class, and a member of Keats. Small but mighty - that was Bob, as a member of the football and track teams. He will study chemical engineering at K-State. BILL ROSS-Bill acted as reporter of the senior class. His actions on the basketball court brought cheers from Paseo fans, and he was a fine player on the football and track teams too. He was president of A Cappella, on the executive board of Student Council, sergeant-at-arms of his junior class, and a member of Keats, mixer com- mittee, and Lettermanls club. In addition to all this, Bill was active in scouting, having his Eagle and God and Country award. PAT WHITE-As sergeant-at-arms of the senior class it was Pat's job to keep order. He was on the basketball team, president of Engineers and Inter-club council, a member of Chemistry club, El Ateneo, Trailic Squad, Letterman's club, and the Honor Roll. Pat will continue working hard at Kansas University studying to be a chemical engineer.

She is anxious to graduate so she can be- come a secretary. She was a member of Pep club and Muir club. MARLENE RAE BOTWIN-This senior was active in both the Pep club and the Science club. She is planning on attending M. U. next year. WAYNE BRACKEEN- Skip was a member of the Student Council, Radio club, Chemistry club, Band, and Orchestra. In his spare time he collects Stan Kenton records. K.U. will claim this future electrical engineer. SHIRLEY IUNE BRASSER- Brat spends most of her time listening to records and enjoying sports and homemaking. She left at mid-term to take up housekeeping. RICHARD BRATON-M.U. will see this friendly senior next year where he will further his ambition of becoming an agricultural engineer. Besides being a loyal Paseoite, Dick was in the Radio club. DON BRECKENRIDGE-Football, basketball, and track kept Break busy at Paseo. He was in the Radio and French clubs and is planning on attending Kansas City University next year. BEVERLY BROCKMAN-Although Bev was very busy in Y-Teens, Pep club, and on the Student Council, she still had time to be veep of Zetas, president of Mask and VVig, on the Paseon staff and in the Fall Play. The piano is her hobby and she plans on attending William Iewell. IOHNNIE BRYAN-A real nature boy this guy. He can't think of anything he'd rather do than Fish and hunt. K.U. will claim this fine Paseoite next year. GEORGETTA BRYANT- Georgie was a member of Drama VVorl-ishop and was in the Fall Play. Her hobby is modeling and she hopes some day to be a professional. IOANNE BUCKNER-IoAnne's ambition is to be a good court reporter. She was very active in Rainbow, Y-Teens, Pep club, Muir club, and Advanced Girls Chorus. Her hobby is records and she is planning on attending Wartburg College. DON BUDD-Bud, one of the shorter members of the senior class, still managed to make enough baskets to stay on the second team. He wants to play professional baseball or study refrigeration. Don was a Traflic Squad member. LARRY CANTRELL- Tex's main interest is music. He entertained at many veteran's hospitals as well as in assemblies at Paseo. His hobby is entertaining, of course, and he is planning on a musical career. IAMES W. CAPPS - I. W.'s ambition is to become a doctor and he should be a good one with all his zest! He was interested in sports and enjoyed both sports and guns as hobbies. IOHN CAPPS-Class oliicer. SANDE CARPENTER--Class oflicer. BETTY CATECHIS - Betty plans on being a secretary after she finishes at I.C. She was active in Y-Teens, and Girls sports. Her favorite class was Sr. Lit. and one of her accomplishments was having a short story published in the Treasure Chest. GLORIA CATON- Glo was active in Iotas, Y-Teens, Pep club, El Ateneo, Science club, and on the Honor Roll. Her hobbies are oil painting and reading. She plans on becoming a X-Ray Technician. NORMAN CHATFIELD-This C.O.E. student had a variety of interestsg piano, girls, and cars. Norm is planning on attending I.C. to learn drafting or another interesting trade.
