He will study electrical engineering at K.U. GERALD EUGENE SMITH-Ierry, it seems, is interested only in Flying and hopes to be a Hyer. Happy landing Ierry! DONALD LEWIS SOBLIN--Don was in the Mixer Band, All-City Orchestra, and played football. He will study electrical engineering at Northwestern. HARRIETTE. IEAN SPACK- This happy and always smiling pirate was a homeroom olhcer. Her great ambition Cand what gals isn'tJ is to be a housewife. MARTHA CAROLYN SPENCE-Martha was in Chemistry Club, A.A.U.VV., F.I'I.A., Air Raid Squad, and National Honor Society. After K.C.U. she will teach. PATRICIA ANN STEELE- Pat was in Cynthians, Student Council, Fall Play cast, Debate team, and she lettered in Girls' Sports, and then Ronnie took up an awful lot of her time. Her ambition is to be a good secretary. WALLACE DEAN STEPHENS-Wally was in Radio Club and liked shop work. In fact, he wants to work in a machine shop in the near future. WILLIAM A. STEVENS- Bill was president of the Chemistry Club, in Engineers, Radio Club, Aeronautics Club, Pep Club, Sound crew, proiector, A Cappella, Traflic Squad, De Molay, Paseon, and a cheer- leader. He will study electronics at I.C. E. I. STONNER - Ed was in Engineers, Lettermen's Club, Discussion Club, Chemistry Club, Radio Club, and Pep Club, he played football and basketball. Ed will study electrical engineering at K. State. VIRGINIA STURGIS-Virginia likes to design and sew her own clothes, which will come in handy when she marries. This pretty gal really kept herself busy but always had a cheery smile for everyone. MARSHALL TABOLSKY-Marshall belonged to Chemistry Club, Discussion Club, Traffic Squad, and the Film crew. After Texas A. Sa M.'he wants to work for a petroleum company. BEVERLY MAXINE TANKEL-Bev enjoyed the foods, shorthand, and clothing classes. She looks forward to being a secretary. PATRICIA TARBELL-Pat was in Cynthians, Mask and Wig, and Y-Teens, and held offices in all three. She will study to be a social worker at K.U. or Nebraska U. SUE TAUTFEST-Susie was in Cynthians, A Cappella, Press staff, Paseon staff, Pep Club, Safety Science Club, Y-Teens, on the Debate team, and Y-Teen cabinet. She was an accompanist for two years. She will be a secretary or go to I.C. CAROLE LEE THOMPSON-Carole was in A Cappella, Pep Club, Muir Club, Safety Science, and lettered in Girls' Sports. She plans to go to I.C. PAUL THORP - Popular Paul was in Keats, Radio Club, Lettermen's Club, and Paseon. Paul was co-captain of the football team, on the Interscholastic League All-Star team, and a track letterman. He will study agriculture at K. State. HARREEN SALLY TOBB - I-Iarrecn belonged to Y-Teens, French Club, and Girl's Chorus. She will be a secretary after M.U. or Stephens. CHARLEEN LOIS TRIPP-Charleen liked sports and music, and was in both Girl's Chorus and Mixed Chorus. She will go to I.C. and then Central in hopes of being a teacher.

IOI-IN D. SANKEY--Iohn was kept busy by Iuntos, Band, Mixer Band, Orchestra, Mixer Committee, Radio and Chemistry Clubs, and being on the Honor Roll. He was president of the Band, in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, and held the highest honor in R.O.T.C. Iohn is headed for the Field of science. BARBARA IEAN SCHANKER-Barby was in El Ateneo, Muir Club, Pep Club, Y-Teens, and Girls' Sports. She hopes to fly her own plane someday. IOE SCHLOZMAN-Ioe debated, was in El Ateneo, and R.O.T.C. He plans to graduate from college and sell million of Fords. BOB SCHMIDT-This fellow was just contented to go to class and get good grades. His plans for the future aren't definite but we know he will be a success in his chosen held. MARY ROSE SCHUBACH-Mary was in Zetas, Y-Teens, and on the Honor Roll. She would like to become a department store buyer. GAIL SUZANNE SETTLE--Gail was in Iotas. French Club, Radio Club and Pep Club. She will go to K.C. Art Institute in hopes of being a commercial artist. MARILYN SHAMIE-Marilyn's hobbies of swimming, dancing, and sports kept her busy. After l.C. she wants to be a secretary in her home town, Brooklyn, New York. ELIZABETH IANET SHANE- Liz was president of F.H.A., in Iotas, Safety Science Club, Muir Club, and Girl's Chorus. Before she graduated in Ianuary she was in C.O.E. Sci-ILQZMAN Scmitmr SCHUBACH SHELTON Smecos SHIRK S1Lvemxx,xN SILVERS SxLveitsTEtN FLORENCE SHELTON-Florence came to Paseo this year from Argentine where she participated in many activities. IANET ELIZABETH SHIELDS --Ian was president of lotas and F.H.A.. and feature editor of the Press. She was in Chemistry Club, Y-Teens, A.A.U.W., Student Council, National Honor Society, Rainbow, the Fall Play, and she debated and bowled. She will teach after K State. WILLIAM S. SHIRK-Bill was in Radio Club, De Molay, Tribe of Mic-O-Say, and he was a projector operator. He is learning to pilot a plane. After K.C.U. he will go into business. IOANNE SHOUP-Io was in Y-Teens, A Cappella, El Ateneo, Muir Club, Rainbow, and Girls' Sports. After I.C. she will be a teacher. NATALEE IEAN SHREEVE-Natalie was in Iotas, A.A.U.W., Chemistry Club, Y-Teens, the National Honor Society, and was an oflice assistant. After attending William Woods College she hopes to make a million and raise horses. WILLIAM LEE SIEGELBAUM-Bill was in Radio Club, Band, and Orchestra. His pictures were printed by the Press and Paseon, by the way his hobby was photography. After M.U. he will be a protrait photographer. SANDRA LEE SILVERIXAN-Sandy was in Chemistry Club, El Ateneo, Fall Play, Y-Teens, Drama Vlforkshop, Highest Honor Roll, and on the Debate team. She will study at U.S.C. or Northwestern. BARBARA LEE SILVERS - Barbara was in Drama Workshop and the Fall Play. She looks forward to being a housewife. MYERLYNE SILVERSTEIN-Pretty Monnie was in Mask and Vllig, Y-Teens, and French Club. Her biggest plan for the near future is to be one of the many pirates on K.U.'s campus next year. 21

VIVIAN TURNER--Viv was in the Muir Club, Girl's Chorus, and on the Highest Honor Roll. She came to us from Iapan where she had many activities in her school and community. KEITH ULLERY- Keith was in Radio Club and De Molay. He will join the Navy after graduating from Paseo. LEAH MARGARET UPDIKE-Lee loves to sing and rated A Cappella as her No. I class. Her big plans after graduation are to be a secretary and then be married. MARY ELIZABETH VALENTI-Mary was in Y'Teens, F.H.A., Pep Club, and she was president of the Muir Club. She will go to Baker or Missouri Valley. DONALD EDWARD VAN SCHOELANDT- Don was on the Traflic Squad and Senior Council. He hopes to have a business career. GERALDEEN VIDITTO-This pirate is really one good looking gal. Gerry was in the Pep Club, Radio Club, and Y-Teens. She heads for K.U. next fall. IOHN I. VOGEL IR.-Iohn likes shop work and may carry this on for his chosen Held. He said he had to spend most of his time keeping up with his studies, but we think he was just too bashful to tell us anything about himself. CHARLES LEON WADE JR.-C. L. was in Radio Club, Traffic Squad and was a projector operator. He really likes to sing and A Cappella rated tops with him. He wants to be a mechanic. MARILYN WALTER-Merry Marilyn the gal always with a smile. This peppy pirate was in the Radio Club, Zetas, Mask and Wig, Pep Club, A Cappella and Drama Workshop. She will go to Drury or William Iewell. DOLORES IEAN WATSON- Dee was in Thicions, A Cappella, Pep Club, Safety Science Club, and Muir Club. She is heading for I.C. next year for a higher education. D. G. WENDEGATZ-D. G. was in Pep Club, Aeronautics Club, Muir Club, Safety Science Club, Fall Play, and Drama Workshop. He will go to K. State and then be a comedian. IKM WEST-This quiet senior just wants to graduate. Meanwhile cars are his hobby. PHYLLIS WICKLIFFE-Little Phyl was in Girls Chorus and her hobby is roller skating. She will go to,I.C. next fall. PATRICIA ANN WILLITS-Pat was in Pep Club, Muir Club, and Safety Science Club. She will go to a business college. PAUL EUGENE WILSON-Willie was in Lettermen's Club and was an Eagle Scout. He plans on going to I.C. or Kansas State next year. HAROLD WISHNOW-- Red was in Iuntos, Trafiic Squad, on Press staff, the Highest Honor Roll, and the Debate team. He will study law at Kansas University for the next couple of years. CHARLES WHITTEN- Chuck was a C.O.E. student for two years. He liked to draw, and wants to study architecture at the University of Maryland after he gets out of the Navy. We really missed that swell fellow when he had to leave us at mid-term. IACK WOLF-lack was in Chemistry Club, Radio Club, El Ateneo, Drama Workshop, and the Debate team. He was an Eagle Scout and in the tribe of Mic-O-Say. He will go to M.U. to study engineering.
