BETTY IO KEYS - Being a member of Y-Teens, Cynthians, Pep Club, Muir Club, Paseon staff, on the Student Council, and a homeroom oflicer kept pretty Betty busy. The next step is Huffs Business College. DELORIS ALINE KIRBY- Pat has her future all wrapped up in being a stenographer and then becoming a housewife. ANNETTE KOHN-French Club and Mask and Wig have taken up much time for Shorty. Next it's Washington U. for nurses training. I-I. RALPH KOLB - Jake has decided to raise cows and play baseball after getting a higher education from Kansas State. CELIA SUE KROSS-Busy Sue was a member of El Ateneo, Chem- istry Club, Y-Teens, Fall Play, Newswriting, Civil Defense, and on the Student Council. Either M.U. or Oklahoma U. will be her choice. SADA KRUG- Sada was a member of A Cappella, Debate team, and president of El Ateneo, She likes to play the Uke and sing happy songs. ROSALIE AKURASH - A member of Drama Workshop, Safety Science, a homeroom oflicer, and obtaining a letter in girls' sports were her activities. lt's I.C. next. RICHARD KYGER-Easy going Dick was president of the Pep Club, in the Lettermen's Club, Muir Club, Aeronautics Club, on the Traliic Squad, and Stage Crew and was football manager. I-Ie's going south to Alabama University. HERBERT LAKE-Printing and photography are the main interests of this pirate. Next year it is I.C. or K.C.U. for Herbie. KEYS KIRBY KOHN KURASH Kvonrt LAKE Liaiwex Lesue Levine SHIRLEY LANGLEY-She is a member of Y-Teens, Pep Club, Bowling team, and winner of four girls' sports awards. Shirley hopes to become a secretary. ROBERT LATTNER- Bud was a member of Engineers, Chemistry Club, and A Cappella, a Student Council representative, and president of his homeroom. He has not decided what college to attend. CAROL IOY LEDEEN-Carol lettered in girls' sports and was on the hockey playday team. She may enter Pittsburg State Teachers College. KENNETH LERNER--Friendly Kenny was SCCKCIZIFY of Iuntos, Com- pany Commander in R.O.T.C., on Student Council, a projector operator, and just likes to loaf and be one of the boys. His plans for the future are to go to K.U. and to be an accountant. MARILYN ESTELLE LESLIE-Class Oflicer. BERNICE ANN LEVINE-While at Paseo Bernie was a member of Drama Workshop. She is undecided about what college she will attend after graduation from these halls of knowledge. VERNA LIGGETT - Verna had lots of friends here at Paseo and really enjoyed coming to school. She says all her classes rated tops with her. DELBERT LINEBERRY-Mask and Wig, president of Iuntos, Traffic Squad, Band, Student Council, Aeronautics, Book Crew, Civil Defense, Paseon, and being on the Honor Roll were only a few of Del's activities here at Paseo. His plans are to attend the University of Miami. DUANE MCCABE-This pirate just liked to go school and do his studying, filling his extra time up with girls, cars and hunting. CAROLYN ROSE HOFFMAN-Carol likes to play the piano and Hawaiian guitar. She isn't sure where she will go to college. DELLA HOLLAND-Della left us at mid-term but she was kept busy while here at Paseo. This sweet senior has no definite plans right now about the future. CAROLINE HOLLOWAY-Although Caroline was new to Paseo she became active in Y-Teens and Girl's Chorus. She's headed toward K. State. KAREN CONSTANCE HOLMGREN-Mask and Wig, Drama Workshop, Y-Teens, Iotas, Fall Play, and Civil Defense kept Karen busy. Next it's I. C. and then on to K.U. or M.U. SI-IERWOOD P. HOLZAPFEL-He was on the track team and a member of the Safety Science Club. Tall and happy Sherwood hopes to go to K.U. RICHARD CURTIS HUFFMAN- Rick,' was a member of the Band. He will go to either Colorado or K.U. next year. His ambition is to be a Naval Oflicer. Good luck Dick. PHILLIP LAWRENCE IACOBS -A Student Council representative, in the Muir Club and being a homeroom officer kept this pirate busy. He hasn't decided between I.C. or for next year. GERALD DUANE JOHNSON - Ierry was a member of De Molay and his main interests are girls and sports. His plans on going to college is to sign his name on M.U.'s roll book. STANLEY IOHNSON- Stan was a previous Student Council representative and this year was a C.O.E. student. He spends his extra time working on cars. He doesn't plan on going to college. ARTHUR KABRICK-- Art was a member of Iuntos. National Honor Society, Highest Honor Roll, Discussion Club, Chemistry Club, Civil Defense, and on the Traffic Squad. He is going on to either I.C. or K. State. LARRY RONALD KAMIN-Larry wants to be his own boss and to travel but before that he will attend M.U. where he will major in business administration. VVhile at Paseo his main interest was sports. ERNEST KARY4This happy and hard working pirate really kept himself busy here in the halls of knowledge. This lad wants to become a millionaire. DUVEEN L. KASER--This peppy pirate liked to have lots of fun and make everybody laugh. Duveenie was in A Cappella, Pep Club, treasurer of Zetas, and on the Honor Roll. She hasn't decided between K.U. or Warrensburg, but she plans on becoming a teacher. SALLY CAROLYN KATHERMAN - Sally was a C.O.E. student. She will attend the Kansas City Business College where she will major in business administration. ARTHUR HOWARD KATZ-- King Arthur was claimed as a member by Discussion Club, Chemistry Club, Saber and Stripes, El Ateneo and Engineers, and was secretary for Aeronautics Club. He helped keep the school going by being on the Traffic Squad and on Student Council. This Highest Honor Roll student will attend K.C.U. next year. BARBARA KAUFMAN- Honey was a member of the Girl's Chorus, and French Club and participated in many of Paseo's talent assemblies playing the piano. She will enter Illinois University. RONNIE KELLEY-Because he wants to be a mechanic, Ronnie spends much time on cars. He'will enter the Navy or the Air force after graduation. ALMA LOU KEYES- Louie likes popular music, dancing, and art. She seems to think fashion designing is tops, and hopes to model her own creations. Let me know if you start creating bathing suits! MCCALL MCCLELLAN MCCLURE McKEE MCLELLAN McNrsn MALONEX' MANAHAN MARSHALL ROSEMARY McCALL-Vocal music being her great interest, A Cappella was Rosie's favorite class. She was a member of Drama Work- shop, French Club, Thicions, Fall Play and was an office assistant. I.C. to take up music is this pirates plan. DONNA McCLELLAN-- This little gal was a member of Y-Teens, Pep Club, Safety Science and F.H.A. Donna is another one of these girls that wants to be an Airline hostess. I.C. is next for her. WANDA MAE MCCLURE-Wanda was a member of the Pep Club, took great interest in girls' sports and is one of these music lovers. She wants to be an Airline hostess. GARY MCCORD- Being in Keats, Muir Club and on the Traflic Squad kept Gary busy here at Paseo. He was a member of the tribe of Mic-O- Say. He plans on taking up geology at M.U. or K.U. BARBARA IUNE MCGOWEN - Barbara was a A Cappella, Latin Club, Y'Teens, Safety Science and Pep Club member. Music rated tops with Barb, but she is going to take up the great job of nursing. CHESTER McGRURY-After girls, cars, and hunting, football rated first with Chester. He was a Muir Club and Saftey Science Club member. He plans on going to I.C. to take up advertising business. MELVIN IAY McKEE-Writing is Mel's interest as he hopes to write a musical for Broadway some day. He was in the Radio Club and is interested in photography. MARLENE LOUISE MCLELLAN-This cute pirate was interested in art work and sports here at Paseo. She was corresponding secretary for Thicions. Micky wants to do office work and just live a long and happy life. MARTHA SUE McNISH -This gal was sure kept busy at school being a member of Y-Teens, Chemistry Club, Iotas, Drama Workshop, Press and Paseon staffs, and keeping up with a certain fellow. LC. awaits Scotty. MCCORD McGow1aN , McGaURi' Mack MAHANEY, I. Max-IANEY, I. Mason: Mfvrmsa MAXWELL MARGARET MACK-We were sure proud of Maggie for winning the Voice of Democracy Contest this year. Needless to say public speaking was het favorite class and was a member of Y-Teens, Botany Club, and Debate Team. She is to take up teaching after attending Kansas State. IOANNE LEE MAHANEY--With Girl's Chorus as her favorite class Io was a member of Iotas and of the Muir Club. She likes sports and plans on becoming a secretary. IOHNNIE MAHANEY- Iohn, Io's twin, was a member of the Radio Club and rated drafting as his number one class. He will join the Navy after graduation. DENNIS MALONEY - Dennis likes to eat and sleep, but we kept him busy while he was at Paseo. He has no definite plans for the coming years. IIM MANAHAN--This happy senior likes to have a good time with all his friends. Iim was too bashful to tell us about his plans for after graduation. SALLY IUNE MARSHALL-This peppy pirate was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Pep Club, an oflice assistant and president of Zetas and the French Club. Sally plans on going to the Art Institute and take up commercial art as art is her hobby. IOHN MASON-Iohn's main interests are archery, guns, and art. He plans on being a mechanical engineer. RICHARD MATHER-Richard kept himself busy being a member of the Lettermen's Club, Chemistry Club, Muir Club, Pep Club, Iuntos and on the Traliic Squad. He took interest in the Boy Scouts. He has decided to be an Engineer. EDITH MARIE MAXWELL-Class Officer. 17
