PLAIIT 24 SENIOR CLASS VERA LORENE MYERS--Lorene was in Thicions and Mixed Chorus. She liked sports, and will become a housewife after working for awhile. Playing the piano is her hobby. VIRGINIA PAULINE NACEL-This fIIture nurse was in Ye Teens and Girls' Chorus. Ginny liked seIIior literature aIId will attend the University of Kansas Medical CeIIter next fall. MARLENE FRANCES NELSON--As a member of Cynthians, A Cappella, and Y-Teens, Marlene kept busy. ller hobby is eol- lecting antique tea cups. She plans to attend college next fall and study art. RAYMOND R. OETTING-Keats, French club. Honor Roll. and Traffic Squad were Raymond's activities. He will study bank- ing at K.C.U. or ,I.C. He Claimed cominercial law and Aineriean Problems as his favorite classes. KELLY O,NEILL--This athletic-minded fella also had time to be on the Student Council Executive Board, Captain iII Traffic Squad, president of Band, Press staff, in El Ateneo, Engineers Lettermenis club, and a varsity basketball lettermaII. Mlf. or Mo. Valley, next. CAROL PALMER--Always a smile oII her face, this jolly senior was in Zetas, El Ateneo, Drama Vlforkshop, Student Council, and on the Honor Roll. It's college for Carol, to study art. DAVE PARELMAN- As a fllfllff' lawyer, Dave will study at K.C.U. next fall. He was a member of Juntos, Mask and Wig, El Ateneo, Fall Play cast, on the Honor Roll, and a debater. DONALD PARKER-As a cheerleader Don really added zest to the senior class. He was a member of Engineers. Radio club. and the Fall Play. lle plans to attend Junior College after grad- IIation. JANETT PASLEY-Being Worthy Advisor of Rainbow took up most of g'Speedy,s tiIIIe. She was a member of Cynthians, Honor Roll, and the French Club. September, 'Sl will see her at Drury to study nursing. BETTY JEAN PAULI -Student Couneil. Cynthians, Discus lltll Club. Honor Roll, and The Press staff as claimed Betty as a llltllll ber. She will attend Kansas State next fall. MADELINE RUTH PENIXHClass officer. ESTHER PERLMAN - Eckie was one of the Powers' Girls and kept busy as a IIICITIIJEI' of the French club, Drama Work- shop, Student Council, and Honor Roll. She likes to collect rec- ords, and will resume her studies of stenography at K.C.l'. PATRICIA PESMEN -Dramatics were the high point iII Patty! senior year. She was a member of El Ateneo, Fall Play cast, and advanced Girls' Chorus. Oklahoma LQ will claim her first, then show business. BILLIE ,IUANITA PETERIE-V- Pete was a Inember of C.0.E. Her plans, after graduation, are to go into nurses' training. She enjoys hunting, fishing, eating, and sleeping. and claims gym as her favorite class. ELNA PHILLIPS- -Elna devoted her time to being a Rainbow girl. Her plans are to become a secretary for some millionaire. Sewing is Elna's hobby, but she nIust enjoy singing, for Girls' Chorus was her favorite class. JACK FRANKLIN PHILLIPS-This may seem odd, but ,lack enjoyed working. He was a member of the Radio club and on our track team. This gay lad plans to become a farmer. JANET LUCILLE PLANZERs.lan was vice president of her homeroom, a member of Cynthians, El Ateneo, Y-Teens, and the Highest Honor Roll. This future secretary enjoys dancing and having fun. She'll be in the halls of ,l.C. next fall. INGE PLAUT-Y-Teens, F.H.A., Spanish, and tlIe Honor Roll took up most of Inky's time. September, 1951, will find this gay senior studying at K.C.U.

SENIOR CLASS AYRAM ROSENTIIAL-Tllis Honor Roll student was president of ,luntos. a member of the Chemistry elub. and the Traffic Squad. He plans to further his study of medieine next year at Wlashington Il. BARBARA JEAN ROSIER--Balrs was a member of the Y-Teens, and Rainbow, but her greatest love was musie. She Claims A Cape pella as her favorite subjeet, and plans to study lnusie next fall at William .lt-well. BEYERLY ROSIER--A member of the Y-Teens. A Cappella, Muir elub. and Rainbow. Bev's favorite elasses were choir and Spanish. She will attend Vllilliatn Jewell. DONNA LEE ROYSE Donna's friendly smile and sweet ways won her many friends. Being a member of Cynthians, and the Student Couneil Art eommittee left her only enough leisure time to enjoy the piano. Itis off to .l.C. tIHARl.ES RUBIN---If things go right for Chuek, heill be build- ing lots of gyms, for he plans to study arehiteeture at Oklahonra and lists basketball as his favorite hobby. Chuck was a member of the basketball team and Radio Club. REID RUNDELL--Reid answered roll eall in the Chemistry and Diseussion Clubs, and All-City Orchestra. He was an offieer of the National Honor Society and Engineers, and played in a swing band. Next fall will find this eapable senior at Yale. DOLORES RUNYAN--This senior was active in girls' sports and Y-Teens. Dee, who was also a member of the Nluir elub, F.H.A., and Student Council, plans to enroll at Kansas U. next year. JOHN RFSSELL -Keats, A Cappella, Dramaties, and the tennis team all elaimed ,lohnny's attention. Next year will find this redhead studying to become a lawyer at K.C.U. MARGARET ANN RUTLEDGE-Margie is another musically minded Pirate, as she was in A Cappella, and plans to attend the Conservatory of Music, after graduation. The rest of this popular senior's time was divided between Y-Teens, the Paseon staff, and Zetas. BETTY JEAN SANDERS- A different ambition is ,leannieis for she plans to study law at Nl.ll. Here at Paseo she was pres- ident of her homeroom, on the Y-Teen Cabinet. and a member of the Diseussion club. DONALD SCHANKER HD had quite a reputation as a funny INHI1, bitt in between jokes he found time for many aetivities. in- eluding being Student Couneil representative. president of his homeroom, and a member of El Ateneo, Chemistry elub, Keats, A Cappella, and a cheerleader. Don plans to study pharmaey next year at K.C.ll. RUDOLPH SCHAHDT-Rudy didnit tell us mueh about himself, exeept that he thought study hall was the lop eourse offered. After graduation, this senior plans to join Unele Sanfs Air Corps. HELEN ELAINE SEARLES-V-Helen enjoyed working as an of- fiee assistant this year and belonging to the Freneh elub. As for eollege, it looks like another Pirate is off to fNl.l'. .IEAN ELIZABETH SELLARS--.lean was the proud possessor of a girls' sports letter, and was also aetive in the Nluir elub, A Cap- pella, and Rainbow girls. Swimming oeeupied a lot of her time. HARRIET SHALINSKY 'Between her other aetivities, Harriet still found time to be on the Honor Roll. She also answered roll call in A Cappella, Girls' Chorus, and Y-Teens. STANLEY SHANE---Stash was just about as aetive as one guy eonld be. He played football, was a member of the l.ettermen's club, Traffe Sqtiad, El Ateneo, Press staff, and Sabers and Stripes. He was a Lt. Col. in R.O.T.C. and a member of Keats. LU ANN SHARON-Becoming a model sounds pretty good to Lu-Lu, so that is what she plans after graduation. She was a homeroom officer and listed typing as her favorite rlass. MYRNA SHEFTEL-Myrna didnit tell us too rnueh, but we do know that Clerical practice was her favorite class, and she plans to go into clerical work as her career. Rosmrimt. .
