SENIOR OFFICERS CLIFTON LASH-This all-around good fella was well chosen as president of the Senior Class. His friendly manner has won Cliff much admiration and many friends. Despite his many activities, Cliff found time to study and stay on the Highest Honor Roll. He was vice president of Keats, Student Council, Junior Class, A Cap- pella, and a Captain on the Traffic Squad. The Press and Paseon staffs, All-City Student Council, Junior Red Cross, and Lettermen's club claimed him as a member. Cliff likes sports, especially base- ball, and will study journalism at J. C. and Missouri Valley. MADELINE RUTH PENIX-Madeline's capability and sweet dis- position won for her the office of Cviftorian of the Senior Class, as well as numerous other honors. She was president of Cynthians, treasurer of the Junior Class, Student Council officer, on the High- est Honor Roll, Press and Paseon staffs, in A.A.U.W., Y-Teens, and the Chemistry club. She admitted she likes to eat. Madeline will go into nurses, training after graduation, and we know this hard working gal will go far. ROBERT MILLS-Itss a mystery where Bob found the time to par- ticipate in so many activities, but he did, and did a fine job. He continued to show his ability by being elected vice-president of the Senior Class. His other activities included editor of The Press, pres- ident of Keats and El Ateneo, reporter of the Junior Class, Captain of the Traffic Squad, in Quill and Scroll, Fall Play, Lettermen's club, on the All-City Student Council, Highest Honor Roll, and Paseon staff. Bob will resume his studies at Westminster or J. C. MARILYN LOVELADY-Holding office was nothing new to this 'jolly, senior. Her ability to keep records was well shown as secre- tary of the Senior Class, Junior Class, and Student Council. Mari- lyn was president of Zetas, on the Y-Teen Cabinet, Mixer Commit- tee, Highest Honor Roll, Press and Paseon staffs, and in El Ateneo. She plans to be a florist, and K. U, will be the lucky one to claim this popular gal! CEREAN MILLMAN-Gerean was very capable for managing the financial affairs of the Senior Class. Her activities included being Gift Receiver of the Junior Class, vice-president of El Ateneo, a member of Cynthians, A.A.U.W., Student Council Executive Board, nurse,s assistant, Highest Honor Roll, Fall Play cast, and a cheer- leader. She plans to have a career in acting or dancing. J. C. will see this Peppy Pirate, with the sparkling personality, next fall. MARY LOUISE VALENTINE-Capable Mary had many other ac tivities aside from being reporter for the Senior Class. She was an officer of the National Honor Society, on the Highest Honor Roll. a member of The Press Staff, associate editor of the 1951 Paseon, a member of the Discussion club, A.A.U.W., Y-Teens, girls, sports, Quill and Scroll, and president of Cynthians, STANLEY LEVIN-Being elected as Sergeant-at-Arms of the Sen- ior Class was just one more honor added to Stan's long list of achievements. We know his pleasing personality and good-natured smile will send Stan on the road to success, as a comedian or M.C., after attending J. C. and Northwestern. He served as a Stamp Treas- urer, candidate for Mayor and a member of Juntos, Mask and Wig, Discussion club, Highest Honor Roll, debater, 'Student Council.
