THE1931 PASEON Parent-Teacher Association The aim of Parent-Teacher work is to promote the welfare of the youthg to create a better understanding between par- ent and teacher, to sponsor a spirit of friendliness and good fellowship in the school and community. The Department of Mutual Help has functioned according to the program out- lined by the council. having been affiliated with the Mutual Help Departments of all other High School Associations. Another outstanding department has been the Parent-Education Class. Books re- viewed have been very popular and well received. The association has had the required number of meetings, including two night meetings, and has sponsored the Open House, Band Concert. and Fashion Show. The membership increases every year, and each year the teachers have turned in 1002 memberships. The outstanding accomplishment of the Association has been the purchase of an original painting each year for the school. The 1931 officers were: president. Mrs. C. R. Goodhartg night presiding officer, Mr. G. C. Tinkerg first vice-president, Mrs E. L. Terry, second vice-president, Mrs. R B. Meltong third vice-president, Miss Ma- belle Miller, recording secretary, Mrs. H. G. Fluryg treasurer, Mr. H. R. Shepherd' auditor. Mr. G. M.
