l fit, The Homecoming assembly was November 10, with the Coronation of Joanne, our queen, and her court. Joe Amstadt, M.C., started the program by calling Howard Ritter, who first introduced' the idea of Homecoming to P.H.S., to the podium where he made an interesting speech. Altogether it was an interesting and entertaining program, climaxed by the F.H.A. tea. The same evening we witnessed an elaborate float parade, ending the evening with the traditional bonfire of the burning of Kennewick. The next afternoon was the exciting football game with Kennewick in which we won back our trophy. This same evening we concluded the Homecoming activities by the dance at teenage with another crowning of our queen and her court. MRS. DAVIDSON HDGUBY., 5 ..r' , Y .Vg 7.k. .,. , EVN None of us could have asked for a more enjoyable Homecoming than the one our school had this year. We should be proud of our trophy, our football team, and of course the girl they chose to be their queen and also their princesses. And at this time we should not forget to thank Mrs. Davidson, the person behind the scenes that has always worked and strived to make the Homecoming days possible. Let us not forget the Homecoming committee who worked and slaved under Mrs. Davidson's super- vision for just about everything and anything to do with the success of the assembly. So as I said before it's been a great success and next year is going to have to go pretty far to be able to beat it. Thanks again, Mrs. Davidson! JOE AMSTADT lusnnnnui
