Jennifer Fortenberry was best described as energetic and enthusiastic while at P.H.5. Her activities range from leading cheers for the 5A State Champion Panthers to dancing as a soloist for the Melange Dance Company. She served as chairman of the Blood Drive and helped P.H.S. win the coastal division Gift of Life trophy. Jennifer has been very active in Key Club, Fgench Club, and Student Council. She has been honored as outstanding Student Council member, delegate to Girlse State, Most Versatile, junior class Citizenship Award winner, and Mbst Beautiful her sophomore and junior years. Jennifer has maintained Principal's List status and has served as secretary of the Beta Club and historian of the National Honor Society. Jennifer Plans to atteid . Mississippi State University and major in Communications.

Eric EiChman participated in the 38th International Science Engineering Fair and recieved awards for outstanding achievement in engineering from Bausch and Lamb, the Junior Engineering Technical Society, and the American Society of Naval Engineers. He attended the 1987 Mississippi Govenorhs Schoolhrecieved a Japan- U.S. Senate Scholarship for a two-month residency in Tokyo and was National Merit Semifinalist. Also, he was an attorney on the Mock Trial Team, served as president of both the Science Club and Mu Alpha Theta, was chosen as .. Rotary Club student of the month, and represented P.H.S. at the 1987 Regional Junior Science and Humanities Syposium and at'the 1988 Mississippi College Math and Science Tounament. Eric was active in Beta Club, Debate Club, Naionail Honor Society, and the German and Spanish Clubs.

Jahn Grant played varsity baseball and football at P.H.$. and maintained an At, average. He received scholasic achievementtawards in baseball his junior year and football his senior year. A member of the gifted class, John served as co-vice-president his senior year. He recieved the English II and citizenship awards in the tOth grade. As a junior, he was a Boys, State delegate. John was a member of Beta ClubI National Honor Society, Key Club, and Fellowhip of Christian Atheletes. In football John recieved the Most Outstanding Receiver Award and was honored by selection for the Burger King Team, lst team All-State, and All-District Team. Also as a senior, Tohn was voted Mr. P.H.S., Senior Class Favorite, and the Most Likely to Suceed. John is undecided on his choice of eolleges at the present but has decided to enter the field of medicine or law.
