The accomplishment of receiving a high school diploma is of utmost importance to you and will give you opportunities to pursue even greator goals. You are going into a very competitive and demanding society which will offer many challenges. I hope through your experiences in high school that you will be better prepared to face problems and to solve them. Many of you have made contributions to P.H.S. by your participation in varied activities. You have proved worthy of any recognition and honor that you have received, and I am' hoping that these experiences have taught you to set worthy goals and to strive to reach them. Each of you have a golden opportunity in a highly specialized world. Allow me to encourage you to continue preparation for your profession in order that you may more ably contribute to America, your fcllowman and yourself. I must encourage each of you to act in a way that Will bring respect to you as an individual and to encourage and mold the minds of others With Whom you associate; You have been an outstanding class, and for this I offer you my gratitude.
