Hi-Day, one act plays, and everything from barn dances to bermuda balls highlighted the year's activities. Fall Commissioner Gaylon Mclntire, iniured dur- ing the first part of football season, and seriously ill for another five weeks, was replaced by Linda Dorrance, who was later reelected for the spring semester. ASSEMBLIES Serious or for iust plain fun, all our assemblies were planned and produced by an Assembly com- mission under the advisership of Miss Joyce Wil- liamson and Mr. David Leary. Student leaders Ginny Retting and Dave Berkus excelled in bring- ing before PHS audiences exciting shows and tal- ented performers. ELECTIONS Here at PHS democratic elections run by stu- dent themselves are planned and supported by the Commissioner and her Election committee. This year Kathie Ransom and Carole Coulter drew enthusiastic support from the student body for their well-organized efforts.
