MCCOMB 3 Cyvg-f::1ter1aer1t cf Pasaaera Publi: cchccls I vi The Bible gives us this quotation from St. Paul, if the trumpet sound an uncertain sound who shall be prepared for battle. Far from be- ing uncertain last September, the Pasadena High School trumpet was sounded to each member of this student body in a manner which was clear, definite and strong. The glorious trail blazed by last year's pioneers has this year been ex- tended onward and upward. The year 1955-55 marks another historic one for Pasadena High School, a year characterized by hard work. high achievements and great successes. To every member of our Student Body, and particular- ly to every graduate, the faculty and staff express both their grate- fulness and their affection. You have learned as individuals to be- come part of the answer, not part of the problem. You have learned to win without bragging, to lose without crying. You have learned that you gain only in proportion to what you give and that real power comes from team work. May you each one continue in the ways of Quality Learning and Quality Liv- ing. The Way of Greatness is the Way of Quality. Members of the Class of 1956, we salute you, each one, with boundless pride. GLADISS EDWARDS MRS. One of the keys to the fellowship of Pasadena High School is the interest found in the club prof gram. Through the efforts of the commissioners of clubs, PHS has successfully attained the objectives sought by the clubs the enrichment of the educational program and the development of student talents. ln the years to come memories of school days will include the activities of the organizations to which 44 students and their friends belongede the entertain- ing at the Veterans Hospitals by the Thespians, the donating of dozens of cookies and tray favors to local hospitals by the Athenians, the planning of the Gene Norman Television Show by the TV Produce tion Club, the sponsoring of a fashion show to help a needy family at Christmas by the Auroras and the many other activities sponsored by campus clubs.
