LEWIS R THOMPSON Counselor of Men Mrs. Lela London, Counselor of Women, came to Pasadena College in l958. Besides serving on several administrative councils and advising the AWS coun- cil, she teaches several courses in religious education each year. Mr. Lewis R. DR. JAMES H. JACKSON DEAN OF STUDENTS A man whose enTire day is focused on The personal needs of sTudenTs of Pasadena College is Dr. James H. Jackson, Dean of STudenTs. Under his broad adminisTraTive responsibiliTy come The counseling and healfh services, financial aid To sTudenTs, parking, and dormiTories. He also serves on seven adminisTraTive councils. Dr. Jackson carne To Pasadena College in l949, afTer several years in The pasToraTe. He was highly successful in developing The forensics pro- gram of The college. An arTiculaTe speaker and Tacfful, efficienT adminisTraTor, he was appoinTed Dean of STudenTs in l96O. His area of service has increased sfeadily each year unTil, This year, beyond his duTies as Dean he also served as AcTing Chairman of The Division of l.eTTers and PresidenT of Alfadena RoTary Club. Neverfheless, he sTill has Time To be a Tremendous advisor To The sTudenT council, and To chaT wiTh sTudenTs alaouT Their personal concerns. No wonder Dr. Jackson has come To be known as A man who geTs Things done.
