Only a capable admmistrator with expert assistance would be able to undertake such a project. Such an ad- ministrator is Pasadena Supermtendent of Schools Robert E. Jenkins. Dr. Jenkins came to Pasadena in April, 1958, after seeing ser ' ice in the school systems of San Diego and Ridgewood, New Jersey. He recei -ed his BA, MA, and PhD from Co- lumbi a Uni ersity. Dr. Catherine J. Robbins. In addition to being one of the only two women junior college presidents, she has proved herself a capable and dedicated administrator. In 1959, she was named ' oman of the Year in the field of education In the Los Anecles Times. 20
