Seniors Speak Out . . . What Did The Co-Op Program Have To Offer That Regular Classes Didn’t? Ricky Allen Dumir e Eric Jack Elza Gregory Lynn Evans Rex Allen Eye Steven Dale Eye Mark Alanson Felton Being involved in the co-op program gives a student the opportunity to be placed in a job which you think you are interested in persueing as a vocation. You can de- cide whether that job is right for you before entering college or training for that field. It gives you the op- portunity to deal with pro- blems you may face as a contributor to the working society. Becky Nestor

This is a very small per- centage, considering the number of teachers I had. Three of these teachers taught History, one taught English, and one taught Math. A lot of the teachers were much too lenient with their students. For example, if a teacher sets a deadline for an assignment, there should be no exceptions made except for those who are ill. I believe that the quality of education in Tucker County will improve once the two schools consolidate. The teachers will be able to stick to one set of rules rather than varying to meet the whims of those who are lazy. Another possible help will be the dam at Davis. The schools would receive revenue desperate- ly needed facilities and equipment Greg Hott Ida Darlene Brow Sharon Kay Carr Teresa Ann Close Walter John Connell Rick E. Corcoran Daniel Lee Dilly

Dana L. Hockman The co-op program is an excellent program. It gives the person involved a chance to work with people and find out what kind of job they would be interested in when they get out of high school. It also gives the student preparation for college and their particular field of in- terest. You learn how to work co-operatively with people and how to take or- ders on the job. You also learn how to accept criti- cism. The program pre- pares you to talk intelligent- ly about your work and how to deal with the public Jon Mahoney 23
