PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The time has come when you are no longer struggling freshmen but, you now are sophisticated seniors, ready to go out in the wide, wide world. Before long, you will join the ranks of the graduates of Parsons High School. Just as other alumni, some of you will get Jobs, and others in a short time will be getting married. It is hoped that the goal of all of you is to make your lives as much of a success as possible. There might be a few of your number who will attain fame, which is as some wise person put it, chiefly a matter of dying at the right moment, and undoubtly there will be some of you who will eventually become wealthy. But whether fame or fortune blesses the highway of your lives or whether you live in obscurity and poverty, you can, in any walk of life, become good citizens. We hope that your four years in Parsons High have given you the foundation for this achievement. Keep your heads. Don’t follow any leader too quickly, his programs and programs and promises.
