This work is entirely voluntary on the part of the students, since no college credit is given for partici- pation in the choir. The choir has added much to many of the chapel and vesper services during the year. At Christmas time, a complete concert of carols and Christmas anthem was given. The most outstanding event of the year for the choir was the seven-day spring tour during the Easter vacation. The first concert of the tour was given in Center- ville on Saturday evening, March 29th, in the First Methodist Church. On Palm Sunday the choir sang oven Radio Station KSIB at Creston: later that afternoon at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, and that evening in the Villisca Presby- terian Church. They sang Monday morning at the Villisca High School and that evening at the Clarinda Presbytehrian Church, Tuesday morning at Clarinda High School, and that evening at the Red Oak Presbyterian Church. Wednesday the choir appeared live different timesg in the morning at the Glenwood High School and Sidney High School, a half-hour broadcast over Radio Station KFNF in Shenandoah at two o'clock, and at the Shenandoah High School immediately following, and Wednesday evening in the Shenandoah Pres- byterian Church. Thursday afternoon they sang at the Corning High School and at the Corning Federated Church in the evening. Friday after- noon at Griswold the choir presented a community union Good Friday service in the high school audi- torium.
