To Miss Dora L. Dexter, we dedicate the 1947 Peira, as a token of our thanlgs for her inspiration and friendship at Parsons College. No trouble is too trivial, no burden too great, to be shared with her. Individual problems and schedules are quietly smoothed out by a conference with this smiling, charming widely-traveled friend on the faculty. Associate Professor of Biblical Literature, and for- mer Dean of Women, Dr. Dexter has been granted a sabbatical leave for spring semester of 1946-1947, and is continuing her graduate study at McCormick Theological Seminary. We loolg forward with great pleasure to the days when she will again be with us on our campus, lgnowing that we can always loolg to her for help and guidance.
