gcanamiw. Glad P. Glasgow M. H. Jones E. Wischmeier Nlerryman One of the most worthwhile and interesting organizations on the Parsons Campus is the newly-formed Economics Club. Organized in the middle of March with much enthusiasm shown by members, this group, under the leadership of President Ebert Wischmeier, occupies a prominent position in Campus life and stimulates thought and action on current economic problems. Outstanding business leaders are engaged as speakers to bring to the Club the value of their experience in everyday business and economic problems. It is the hope of Mr. Tom Shearer, acting President of the College and Director of the Small Business Bureau of Parsons College, that definite conclusions on these problems may be reached after intelligent discussion of them. The Club is a social, as well as educational, organization, and sponsors dances and parties for students and faculty of the College. Membership is open to all students interested in Economics. The Faculty sponsor is Mr. lVlartin Zober, head of the Economics Departmentg officers for I947 are as follows: President .,.,....,. ..... E bert Wischmeier Vice President ..... ...........
