The council is composed of officers elected directly by the student body, two representatives from each class, and one representative from every active organization on the campus. This group meets every Wednesday in the club room at the library, and acts as a medium between the students and the faculty. The Student Council plans the social activities of the campus as well as taking an active part in regulating the hours, dormitory rules, and conduct of students. Fred Dahl heads the council, Russell Shafer is Vice Presi- dent, and Patricia WickliH is the Secretary-Treasurer. Dean Gates is the faculty advisor.

Anderson One of the most outstanding groups on the campus is the Student Christian Associa- tion. Membership in S. C. A. is open to any student of Parsons College. The main purpose of the organization is to provide a means for expression of Christian ideals, to promote good fellowship, give experience in leadership, and to provide an opportunity for spiritual growth through new experiences in worship. S. C. A. started its activities early in the season by meeting trains and buses at the beginning of the fall semester in order to acquaint new students with the college and town. Other activities it promoted were the opening mixer party, Big and Little Sister Tea, a Hallowe'en Party, several chapel and vesper programs, Religious Emphasis Week, and the W. S. S. F. Drive. Under the sponsorship of S. C. A. deputation teams composed of students conducted worship services at small ohurches in this and neighboring counties. Regular meetings were held every second and fourth Tuesday nights in Ballard Lounge. Probably the most outstanding contribution of the S. C. A. to student life is the student center, The Hut, which is operated by the S. C. A. in co-operation with the college. OFFICERS Co-Presidents ..,... ...,......,.....,....
