The Wildcats started slow and failed to score in the first quarter. However, things started with a bang in the second period with the Kelly Greens pil- ing up 27 points. Gorman, Nor- man, Bob Brown, and Shumalcer crossed the double stripe and Kane converted three times to make the halftime score read 27.0. ln the second half Shumaker intercepted a pass and went 85 yards to score. ,410 In a whirl of activities centered around the first big post-war homecoming celebration, the climax was reached when the Parsons football squad de- deatecl their traditional rival Iowa Wesleyan Col- lege with a score of 20-0. During the half the Homecoming Queen and her attendants were presented. The queen was Miss Erla Thomas, and her attendants were Miss Judy Dutton, and Miss Pat Wickliff. The Cor- onation was held at the Fairfield Armory that evening before 500 students, faculty members, and the alumni. Fresh model latest p. j.'s at the movie . . . . . Wesleyan kick-of . . . The Homecoming parade held at noon just be- fore the sorority and fraternity luncheons exhibited gaily decorated Hoats from each active organiza- tion on the campus. Zeta Theta Gamma won first place in the paracle, and Elzevir won second. Friday night the Freshman class met after the Homecoming play for the traditional torch light parade to town in their pajamas. They marched around the square and closed with pep rally and gala movie crash. Some guys gel shaved, while others get white washed ft G21
