When Warren and Geneva both were injured, Bob carried the ball as well as ran interference. His drop kicking was his strongst point. Succeding him is John Hornish, an old team mate of Bob's in high school. John has played tackle for three years at Parsons. For their coach, John and Bob have had Glenn Devine who, in the opinion of Fairfield fans and the Parsons alumni, is the best coach that has ever molded Wildcat elevens. In the five years that he has been here he has put out championship teams in every branch of sports that he has coached. In football he has won two champion- ships and tied for one. When is was announced at the football banquet that he would be here five years more, the whole room full of fans and players stood up and burst into applause.
