Vespets Some of the most peaceful hours of the year are spent in Sunday Evening Vesper services, The dignity of the services seem to build anew in us a faith stronger, surer, and better. Wearing of the Green The Student Council decrees the Freshmen must wear green skull ,caps until Thanksgiving. L . H omecomzng A pep meeting the night before brings a large crowd of alumni and students up to the 'proper pitch to enjoy the exciting fray that always occurs on Homecoming Day. T Football Banquet Every year the business men entertain the football squads of the High School and College at a banquet in the Elk's Hall. At this time the new captain is chosen by the varsity men. This year the basketball team and their lady friends were royally entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Louden. Washington Party The Senior Class always sponsers the Washington Party, where gay Marthas and bold Georges dance the minuet. E Campus Day In the spring, when tender green shoots have appeared and Old Sol is behaving beautifully, the entire college takes a day off and in the forenoon cleans the campus, The remainder of the day is spent in playing games or otherwise digesting the huge spread served at noon. Senior Chapel - jI'he last Chapel service of the 'year is conducted by the Seniors. Members of the faculty are impersonated and amusing incidents of the school year are enacted. Senior Gifts The most popular professor, the spooniest couple, and other positions of dis- tinction are recognized by Senior gifts to the fortunate ones. May Fete p The Spirit of Spring, Queen of May, May Pole dancers, and ellin attendants of the Queen are all in evidence at the magnificent May Fete every year.
