This year when you walk down a hall or look in a classroom you happen to see alot of ripped jeans. Students go home and find an old pair of jeans, and they will bleach them and tear holes in them. You would also see more T-shirts with rock groups like Motley Crue, Poison, Def Leppard, Metallica, and Guns and Koses. Most students like to wear Reebok, Converse or Nike shoes.During winter more people are wearing long trench coats or jean jackets. During the summer the girls are most likely to wear mini-skirts and boys wear tank tops and jam shorts. Who knows what students will be wearing in a few short years. Most people hang out and talk to friends on the park- ing lots of Pizza Hut, Ronaldo’s,May’s, Ken- ney’s. For dancing most people go to the ReC- reation Station. Even though there is not a whole lot to do in a smali town, people can easily find something to do in Buena Vista. This is a town that is usually wide open on week-ends for wild ones. While being some where they shouldn’t be Brian Lowdermilk waves goodbye, but Susan Gilbert turns her back. Everyone looked like they walked out of a fairy tale. There was happiness in the air and everyone looked as if they were floating around in a dream. Once again the prom was held in the Sem ballroom. The D.J. was the same as last year and not without a doubt the best. The night was going great. There was plenty of good food and cold drinks. The king and queen for the Class of 1989 were Brian Lowdermilk and Billie Jean Oyler . It was the time for the Senior walk. This year there was a change. We wouldn’t only have a prom king and queen, we would also have a prom court. The king and queen were an- nounced as Billie Jean Oyler and Brian Lowdermilk. The juniors worked very hard and made it a night to remember. The decorations were beautiful and made a regular room into a ballroom fantasy. The Junior-Senior Prom of 1989 was “A Night of Dreams” and will always be remembered. During the senior line up, everyone waits for the other seniors to walk in.
