As a new year starts Students go from class to class Getting used to the routine From English to Science to Math Seniors are excited Upperclassmen finally It’s been a long climb They are as happy as can be And Freshman are scared But before long There is nothing they can’t do Football games have begun And girls’ basketball is here Cheerleaders are very busy And cross country is near But school isn’t just sports Academics are the school. Sophmore Christy Coleman puts all her energy into retrieving the ball. Many local businesses show their support for the Blues by displaying words of encouragement for all to see. For we have to plan our futures As we follow many rules But no matter what you enjoy There is always something to do For Parry McCluer has many activities And things the whole year through So no one is ever bored As we go from day to day And as winter sports are here The Seniors show their spirit during the first pep rally by coming together as one and proving who really has more. Competing for “‘Scariest”’, and “‘ Most original’’ in the Halloween Contest are Seniors Tessa Rowsey , Lynn Shafer , Beth Figgers , and sophmore A.W. Wilhem . There’s more to do, as we go on our way The year is half way over There is so much to come The Prom, Graduation... But still a lot has to be done. There will soon be memories As seniors Graduate, But we will all be Forever Blue Because Parry McCluer is first rate. Year by year we'll visit As each class passed by But it is a special place Here our memories lie. As the year progresses We’re all having so much fun But at Parry McCluer The fun had just begun In the years to come Will be the true test But it is proven time and time again Parry McCluer is the best ! Class by class comes home Each and every year Students from here will always be Forever Blue And hold our High School memories dear. So this year will be no different And the Class of 88 Will prove to be Forever Blue After they Graduate. Opening 3
