It seems like only yesterday We teased at her shortness Giggled at her taped eyeglasses But we taunted each other into friendships. She always made time to help When we never did. Did she want too much? We thought so— then. But how did we know her time would run out. Four years have come and gone Since she ran out of time We now look to greater goals.
