The PARRIMAC STAFF has really tried to make this yearbook different and better than ever before. There are, of course, people who start the year on the staff and then end up doing no work. The people who did work have done an amazing and enormous job. We all started the year knowing nothing about doing a yearbook, but through trial and error, and many headaches — we hope we have accomplished what we set forth to do. We hope this yearbook will be the most exciting yearbook ever published at PMHS: I would like to thank all those people who really put out the effort to raise money, meet dead- lines, and get this yearbook published. I hope that this yearbook will be the one remembered, and referred to, for years to come. William T. Fuller—Sponsor. 1972 PARRIMAC STAF F “Steve, You poor DUMMY!” Editor-in-Chief — Joyce Cash, Business Manager — Robin Ramsey, Spon- sor — William Fuller. 18

The STUDENT COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION is the backbone of the student body. Its purposes are: To provide students the opportunity for self-government and participation in decisions affecting their interests and welfare; To promote throughout the school a high standard of honesty, responsi- bility and courtesy; To encourage an atmosphere of friendliness, helpfulness and mutual respect be- tween the students and teachers; To develop good citizens and leadership through the experience in self-government; To coordinate and regulate student activities. The SCA works hard to achieve the set goals. Some of these goals are: to make the magazine drive a successful one, attend district and state conventions, to take part in state wide projects such as the glass recycling project. The council is also looking into sponsoring a foreign exchange student. feet € Jeff accepts the 2¢ check for the magazine drive. Hikers HP The SCA keeps us posted. 20
