Acquired knowledge and invention have carried man from the Dark Ages to the glowing, energetic present. It has come a long way, slow at first, but gaining momentum every year, day, and moment. It is easily seen from past history that nations scien- tifically directed, flourished, and became world powers. Science has raised the standard of man's living to such heights that he has found himself in a world of com- plexities. The world of our present is dictated by electronics, nuclear physics, and automation. This is only the present. What does the future hold in the world of science? In the near future there will be communications and travel between the planets, advances in higher mathe- matics, bio-chemical discoveries, and better living for our old, old world.
