DEDICATED TO AN INSTITUTION DEAR TO OUR HEARTS We, the class of 1961, dedicate this, our 1961 Parrimac to Parry McCluer High School. We dedicate it not merely to the stone and brick of which these buildings are constructed, but tothe high standards and idealisms which the beloved old school has and has so freely given to any seeking comfort within her hallowed halls. Parry McCluer High School is where we have spent many hours, some of them jubilant and carefree - some solemn and devotional. It is difficult to conceive that we will soon be but a memory, safely hidden away within the halls of our treasured alma mater. We only hope that in years to come the ringing of our laughter throughout the corridors will still be heard by any who may return for the sole purpose of cherishing and refreshing the won- derful memories that Parry McCluer High School has given. We reluctantly leave Parry McCluer but we have much to take with us. Our only wish is that the future seniors reap the many benefits and fond memories that we leave behind, yet in a sense, take with us. It is indeed sad to know that shortly Parry McCluer's doors willclose forever behind us and that we will then have to rely on the fond memories linger- ing in our hearts to keep us forever mindful that the finest years of our lives were spent here. These halls and classrooms are no longer ours to have and to hold the memories we shall take with us as we step out to fight the battle of life. Therefore, we, the Seniors of Parry McCluer High School, dedicate this yearbook to the institution which will become a memory dear to our hearts. - Senior Class of 1961
