SENIOR WILL You, the relatives of the late Senior Class of 1944 are gathered here to hear the last will and testament of the deceased. But first let's look back over the past four years of the late departed. Back in 1941 we entered high school as green fresh- men a group of sixty-four, Miss Bessie Meador and Mr, Louis V. Schreiner led us through our first year. In 1942 we numbered fifty-four and we lived up to the reputation of being silly sophomores''y However, Mrs. Mary Guill Seay, Mrs. Della Rinker, and Mr. Schreiner saw to it that we quieted down and got to work. By 1943 we had lost quite a few of our original sixty- four but we managed to be the jolly juniors that Mrs. Seay, our teacher, expected us to be. Then came the long-awaited year of 1944, As a group of nineteen under the careful guidance of Mr. Lawrence Wood we acquired the reputation of dignified seniors. The class passes on but Mr. Wood is left behind. Now to get on with the will. We, the Senior Class of 1944 being of sound mind and body do decree this to be Our last will and testament. We, Margaret Brown, and Dorothy Lawhorn,. leave our ability to rate with Army Lieutenants to those girls who are less fortunate than we, I, Randolph Terrell, leave my ability to get along with the opposite sex to Hundley Griffith, I, Mildred Wiseman, leave my yuietness to June Painter, I, Margaret Mays, leave my habit of promptness to anyone who needs it, I, Harry Feazell, leave my Superior ability as a soda jerker to Harold Green,
