Forget Parma High? Never, we resolve as the vivid memory of our high school days unfolds before our eyes. Sophomore year saw us dubbed underclassmeng the same year also witnessed the first reunion of the Class of '59, since half of us had spent our freshman year at Schaaf and the rest of us at PSH. We developed a school spirit that grew with our number and ascended to the peak scho- lastically as well as socially. Mr. Robert Brugge furnished counsel and aid as our class adviser. Familiar incidents highlighted our second year at PSH-juniors mustered their talents for the presentation of the class play, The Importance of Being Earnest , led by class president Dennis Reese, the class planned a spectacular Junior- Senior Prom, Moonlight in May , and the election of Walter Zaremba as our SCM closed our gay, carefree years as underclassmen. 12 Senior year for the Class of '59 bubbled with excitement. Among the numerous events of the year were such highlights as the suspenseful Senior Class play, The Night of January l6th g a breath- taking senior dance, Underwater Fantasyng an undefeated football season topped by the LEL crowng senior prom, Baccalaureate, and Com- mencement-where the bubble finally burst. To make our senior year a successful one, we chose good leaders to aid us on our way-Richard Klym, president, Jim Campi, vice-presidentg Geor- gia Springer, secretaryg and Jay Gradisher, treas- urer. We did our best to live up to our name, Parma, the Queen of High Schools, and on leav- ing, entrusted it to the underclassmen to keep Parma Senior High far supreme and over all. Commencement with all its solemnity, memories, and tears made us face the realization that we had completed one phase of our life, and ahead of us was the world with its trials, challenges and realities-waiting for us to explore.
