ilu Memoriam-wiuiam JE. 1BiIut Summer excursions to Canada offered much-needed and well-deserved rests for one of Parma's ITIOSE beloved educators. His most intense desire, however, lay in developing 1 better education for Parma Senior High students. Throughout his twenty-three years of service to Parma schools, Mr. Wfilliam B. Pilot strove to initiate new plans and ideas for better learning. ln his capacity as Director of Guidance, Mr. Pilot developed our guidance department and served as junior boys' counselor. His vital interest in Parma High students resulted in our new honors classes. But on November 20, 1958, a Hag flown at half-mast signified the sudden, untimely death of out beloved assistant principal. To honor him-and to thank him-Parma Senior High paused to hear Concert Choir's dedicatoty anthem to his memory. Mr. Williarzn S. Bassett, our principal, said: His passing is a profound loss to the school and community. We shall miss him in the days that lie ahead. . . Eiga iiuth bless you ante heap pau
