Students involved themselves in extra-curricular activities Chess club officers: Wesley Rhodes, Kenny Foster, Reggie Dampier. 88-fchess club A group of interested chess players successfully formed a club to challenge one another and in- crease logical reasoning. Under the direction of Mr. Eldon Offenbacker, the group met every Tuesday morning to improve their skills and techniques. Junior-Senior Prom Committee, composed of nine junior girls and sponsored by Mr. Don Clow, worked to raise money for the annual dance. Selling programs at football games con- tributed a major part of the funds. Other pro- jects included egg sales, pop-bottle drives, and a bake sale.
