Gym broke routine Girl's gym instructors attempted to promote more interest in their classes with outdoor sports such as tennis. speedball, and field hockey. Cold weather moved classes indoors to play volleyball and badminton. Vigorous games of football and bombardment released the days' tension in boyis gym classes. Students received a six week rest while studying health. Through the use of films and individual research the classes attempted to make the students more aware of health and safety. Individualized study con- tinued as students progressed on their own dur- ing class hours. Computer Programming I and II joined the math department this year. Once every two weeks the classes took a bus trip to MSSC and learned about computers and keyboard operators. During regular class hours they wrote and perfected their own programs. Classes began to realize how math influenced their lives in a computer oriented society and tried to apply it to career goals.
