Place: Parisg Time: middle 1600's. Cyrano, the swashbuckling poet-hero aid- ed young Christian to 'imake one hero, for the sake of one woman whose heart must never break for lack of love.', For two months, first-year Drama students worked with more experienced cast members. Efforts yielded a four evening run of sword fights, a play within a play, and a battle scene with smoke and flames added for special effects. y Directed by Mr. Gary D. Claus. Wrapping paper, Christmas cards, parties, and cold windy nights appeared as the holiday season returned. The school joined in the festivities with ornamented classrooms and fund raising events. Mr. Zeka's first hour class won the decorating contest with a truly unique room. The teachers started a precedent with an all- faculty cast Christmas play. The humorous play spread warm spirit throughout. At the close of the holiday Parkwood's Student Council provid- ed each student with a candy cane. Mrs. Meyer aids the cause. Christmas trees adorn the christmasf163
