Students celebrated 'victory It 5125 Dance decor buds. 154fhomecoming White mums, screaming underclassmen and un- seasonable October weather were partial in- gredients of Homecoming, 1974. Julie Brandt introduced the six queen can- didates to the student populace at the yearly Homecoming assembly. Juniors Margaret Seidler and David Lowe provided entertainment in the form of solos and a duet. The candidates paraded before the public down Main Street. Marching Bears, ROTC, and Y- Teens also participated in the parade. That evening, the grid squad clashed with the Kickapoo Chiefs, the Bears remaining on top-27 to 0. Following the victory, many couples trekked to the Parkwood gymnasium to enjoy the Homecoming dance. The theme of Homecoming '74 was Harvest Moon. '6Head Over Heels provided music for the dance. 1 S X . as Y-Teens incite spirit on Main. Head Over Heels renders music. RIGHT: D. Lowe and M. Seidler perform.

Teachers gave either a good or bad report on students as parents entered the halls of Parkwood. The names parents heard for so long, now become tangible people. Student Council members directed parents into the correct room numbers, and cafeteria for refreshments. Colleges from surrounding states, sent represen- tatives to Parkwoods 17th Annual College Night. Students undecided about which college to at- tend, went to different lectures to receive infor- mation about a possible choice.
