Russ Kaminskyis dribbling Bears turned in the most dismal record in Parkwood's history. Hurt by the graduation of many senior players the roundballers struggled with a tough schedule. Although they posted a 5-14 record the players showed enthusiasm and stamina throughout the year. Senior guards Danny Fisher and Larry Shelly led the offensive attack but many juniors and several sophomores saw considerable varsity action. Todd Goosetree comes down with a rebound. D. Briggs fight for the ball. drops it in for another goal. The Junior Varsity basketball team, under direction of Coach Warren Turner, faced a tough schedule, turning in an over-all record of 7-13. Players sharpened their skills and talents preparing for next year's varsity positions. Coach Turner stressed fundamentals of ball handling and maneuvering to provide for a stronger team next year.
