Keisner put extra effort in the Glendale game. Cheerleaders boosted spirit With at least two years experience behind them, Varsity cheerleaders strove for perfection dur- ing the 74-75 school year. In July, they attended a clinic at Missouri Valley College where they won four blue ribbons and the spirit stick. To raise money, they held a clinic for younger girls interested in high school cheerleading. Daily practice during the summer and drills in first hour during the school year, helped them achieve their technique goals. In order to re- main on the team, the girls maintained a high grade average throughout the year. Mrs. Marsha Harlan sponsored the cheerleading. form Frank Patchm into a Glendale Falcon. The girls painted signs and posted them around school and at games to boost school spirit. Close scores and injured players con- fronted the girls as they kept up team and students.
