'ootball Homecoming. akfast to Mountain, GFOVC Siudenii- October 26 Parkwood Student Council spon- sored the annual Southwest District Student Council Convention after winning the Presiden- cy last year. Approximately 450 students came for the convention. The 37 STUCO members decorated and financ- ed both Homecomings and Twirp. After reinstating classes to sit together in assemblies, they also brought to the school: box lunches, picnic tables, painted trash cans and benches, banners for the gym and showed movies in the auditorium. Miss Lorene Carson and Mr. Keith Zeka as ad- visors assisted in meetings,activities, and with Big Brothers Christmas funds. , i Becky Dampier distributes time schedules to students from area schools. Using the money for their annual dance Snowball the Y-teens had at least one mdney making project a month to give girls an opportunity to par- ticipate. Members needed two projects in order to attend the dance. Many of the members helped children at the Cerebal Palsey Clinic during their study halls. y-teensf117
