Compile Winning Record Hard workouts, skillful coaching, and individual drive contributed to the success of the 1973 track team. The team was composed of strong indi- viduals who consistently had wins in their events to contrib- ute to the final winning score for West. Two such individuals were Bob Guest, in triple jump, and Kevin Delorey, in high jump. Each broke the previous school record in his event three times in a row - in the first three meets of the season. Pride in the team evoked spirit: each individual pulled for the rest of the team, which also greatly contributed to the out- standing season. Bob Bissell turns to receive the baton from teammate Glen Bartholomew. Kevin Delorey demonstrates the form he used to win in the high jump event time after time. l
